Samsung 4 door Flex Zone water Filter replacement

Thank you. I just changed the filter on the 4-door Samsung we bought in April. Your video was so helpful. I didn't pull the big hulk out to turn off water supply at the back, but I did turn off the house supply valve that is much easier access for me. FYI: there are some directions inside the packaging for the Samsung filter too.

Have you had any trouble with the lights not coming on when you open the bottom doors?

Have you had water leaking near the back of the water filter unit? It flooded my compartment.

I have not. Is it the original filter? Is it possible the replacement filter isn't seated properly? My old GE fridge had a more user friendly filter that protruded into an open shelf and was much easier to replace. During my research, I have not come across any filter leaks with this model fridge however.

Bespoke is known for the water dripping problem. I had them replace the brand new refrigerator

My water filter location smells bad so I took out the newly installed water filter. I thought the water filter was bad but the filter slot still smells bad without the filter. Any suggestions?

Hmmm. Sorry to hear that. If there's a smell then there's some organic material somewhere causing it. Is it possible the water supply to the fridge is contaminated and "dirt" has been pushed into the fridge water lines? Im not sure how best to deal with that smell though as the water lines are buried inside the fridge casing.
