Samsung CLP-680 series laser printer - changing the waste toner bottle - don't buy a new one.

The laser printer will stop printing when the waste toner bottle is full, this collects all the waste toner when you are printing. A new one will cost you more than £20 but its OK to just clean it out. This video shows how. If you are not used to this I would suggest wearing a mask and gloves, toner should not be breathed in and it can also be electrostatically charged. Use a sandwich or freezer bag to put it in while emptying the toner, and flush it out with some water and a few drops of washing up liquid, keep flushing until clean and allow to dry. If you wondered what the yellow tag is on a new one it is to act as a stopper for the old one prior to disposal. But ignore that because we are going to clean the one we have.

Yes, and I prefer to tap out the toner in a plastic bag like a freezer bag and to be extra sure do it outside. Also important to wash out the empty toner container because it has an optical light path that needs to look clear.

How about replace for the tray roller kit

I have only replaced the fuzer roller at the back which was easy to do. Not sure about the other roller which does get contaminated. I will look about trying it, but I am not with my printer at the moment.
