Thank you!!! Worked like a magic. Even pros from Samsung and other repair shops could not identify that driving mind crazy buzzing noise. Motor replacement is a MUST, otherwise noise will NOT go away. We have cleaned the blower wheel from 1” thick lint, didn’t help, then replaced the motor along with rollers, pooley and belt, came in package. Now we have beautiful quiet Samsung dryer. Thank you for saving us from insanity.

Very helpful video, my dryer was struggling to turn the drum and making an awful sound. I removed the lint trap and low and behold a baby sock was stuck in the fan... Really appreciated

This was very helpful! We had a sock stuck down in the vent, easy fix. We assumed it was probably an expensive part that needed replacing and were happy to discover it was a minor problem. Thank you

Replaced all this still buzzes like crazy. I think the heating element is possibly vibrating in its housing

repaced my motor, and nothing stuck in the fan, also replaced the burner element, but buzzing still comes and goes during drying cycle….?

I think I had a small buzzing sound until last night heard a loud bang. Would the motor or belt cause this sound? Also is there a troubleshooting mode/code on the panel I can access before beginning a full repair

Thank you for your help. 🥰🎉. I started my dyer without the lent tray for just a moment, within that time a sock fell into the opening and caused the dryer to stop spinning and the humming sound ensued. I was able to locate the problem and solve it, thanks to you!👊🏾 I am grateful!

What’s the light blinking??? Mine has the light blinking and not turning
@DIYwithMichaelBorders Жыл бұрын
Good morning, just poured a cup of coffee and am sitting down to answer any and all questions for the DIY community. The dryer drum icon flashes momentarily after we turn our machine on. That’s normal however it is supposed to turn off after 10-15 seconds. It’s basically running a self-test on the exhaust ducting to ensure it’s clean and clear. If light continues to stay illuminated, the lint screen may be clogged or exhaust duct may need to be cleaned. Would it cause any harm to continue using the dryer with the buzzing noise?

@DIYwithMichaelBorders Жыл бұрын
@@beinggood61 Thanks for the update, it’s possible that a roller is offset and making the drum smack the inner shell…🤔 Do you see any signs of drum rubbing or hitting anything? Do you see any signs of discoloration where a portion of the dryer is getting hit by something?
