Thank you SO MUCH! I was able to fix my dryer with this video. Turns out we got something stuck in the lint filter and it fell all the way down into the motor. So there was a very loud rattle noise when we turned on the dryer. Using this video, I was able to take apart the dryer and resolve the issue. :)

Was your dryer making the same noise as the one in this video? Thank you for your time

My issue was a random one...my toddlers stuck a chopstick in the dryer and it got stuck in the motor. Fortunately, I was able to take the dryer apart, remove, and put back together. Hope you resolve your issue!

Thank you very much for the information. Mine just ended up being the spring clip for the motor came loose. The one back by the pulley. I tightened it back up and put everything back together. I would've had a much tougher time without your video. Thanks so much. You've got another subscriber.

Was that issue causing the same noise as in this video? Thank you for your time, my dryer is making the same noise and I don't want to replace everything...

This video is AMAZING 👏 after paying a professional almost $400 and them telling me that they didn't know what it could be, the motor was fine because it turned freely and that's the only thing that was still under warranty on my dryer (not true) 😳 a month later it completely seized up and now is only humming after it was making this exact sound. It's so good to find out what the issue is so I can just fix it myself. I will NEVER hire someone again. So much money wasted on professionals who couldn't even do what you did for me in this video. Thank you 😊

This is awesome my dryer sounds the same right now. I was wondering if there was another reason for this noise or if this is definitely it. Thanks for the video and the help. 👍

Very good video. Thank you for taking your time to do make this 👍🏼. Back lower bearing was bad. Changing all bearings, belt and tensioner. Amazon $40. I like that the only tool needed is a philip screwdriver

Why replace the whole blower assembly rather than just the blower fan wheel?

Because then they sell you a $277 Blower assembly instead of $20 blower fan wheel ;)

Wowww my dryer is definitely not this loud lol. The one in this video sounds like a concrete drill . Mine just sounds like the drum is louder than it's supposed to be when it is running .. but you guys have great videos. I used your other video to replace my heating element twice. You saved me $600 twice. So maybe I can use the same troubleshooting steps to fix my loud dryer even tho mine is not nearly as loud

Once again I have proved to myself why I should NEVER attempt any DIY projects and ALWAYS should hire a professional. Sure the top panel came off fairly easy. Then the real fun began. The front control panel did not come off so easily as shown in this video. I tried diligently to follow the video instructions to the letter but there are 4 long plastic clip pieces inside the panel that attach to the dryer that were never mentioned. All 4 broke off very easily. Hardly had to force at all. Then the 2 clips for controls refused to come apart. One has green tape covering the connection. No harnesses disconnected and no tabs depressed. (Impossible) So I just placed the user interface panel on top of the dryer figuring I would move on to the next step. Next bottom 2 screws removed and then top of panel 4 screws removed. Again could not disconnect the front door switch. This is when I finally gave up. Then when trying to put everything back into place, nothing lined up properly. 2 middle screws for front panel fine. 2 on each edge, not fine. Put interface control panel back in, again screws did not line up. Put top panel back on, everything looks fine but once again screw holes will not lineup. Time to call a professional to fix this mess once again proving that I should NEVER attempt any DIY project. :-( Now for some crazy insane reason I will never understand....the dryer (for now) is no longer making a loud noise when running. ahahahahahaha
