This finally showed me exactly where it is located. If your real nimble and use a little stubby ratchet and a phillips bit you can reach it from the back and only take the duct cover off. It is a hard reach but possible.

you mention in the video name "issues" with the thermistor. What was the issue with the thermistor? That would have been good to know before taking the dryer apart don't you think?

The heat is not regulated stays hot till the limits take over and shut down the heat. Thermistor supposed to do that takes place of the old timey bi-metal klixon. Note clean out the inside the blower housing also.
