Just wondering, did you get a code at all? I get a ‘te’. Allegedly, that means the vent is clogged but we cleaned ours out. We unplugged & replugged but no change. I’m gonna try this. I’ll let you know how it goes. Last time I took the thing apart I ended up with some leftover screws & sh… 🤔🤭
@damndiddathurttv3655 Жыл бұрын
Know codes just was no heat but good luck it will work out and you definitely got keep up with what screw goes where especially with all that vibration you don't want it all coming apart

I tried this and the thermistor fell somewhere in the dryer and I couldn't find it. I ended up having to disassemble it and removing everything in fear of it landing inside the blower motor and it happened to land on top the the blower motor. The disassembly wasn't all that bad and I think it was better to do so in my case because the dryer was filthy and I was able to thoroughly clean it with a vacuum.

@@damndiddathurttv3655 Yes sir! Also it was the fuse I took off and fumbled instead of the thermistor 😂I realized this when I received the part. Now I know why it was difficult for me to remove it and on your video you did so with ease!! 😂 I'll remember to do it right next time. Thanks for the tip!! You're a genius
@TomBVoxman Жыл бұрын
You're awesome, thanks for this! One youtuber said to replace the high limit thermostat while you're at it. That's the thing to the right of the fuse. Did you find that to be necessary?

@dadthefixerflorida3 жыл бұрын
What was the reason that you changed this? I am having issues with my Samsung dryer when on sensing modes. It shuts off after a few minutes. I hav already changed out the heating element and the other two fuses with it . this was for previous issue of no heat. I’m trying to decide if this is what I need to do next. I hope this is what’s needed. Let me know your thoughts.

Are u sure u changed the thermostat sensor also and I changed out my parts from having no heat it powered on just fine tho
@indylovelace3 жыл бұрын
Sounds as if he changed the heating element and not the thermal sensor…also called the thermistor. I bought the thermistor on Amazon for $13 (USD). Here: smile.amazon.com/Siwdoy-DC47-00016A-Thermostat-DC32-00007A-Thermistor/dp/B07765XD3W/ref=sr_1_9?dchild=1&keywords=Samsung+thermistor&qid=1628127023&sr=8-9

Some times the moisture sensor will get junk stuck in it, like hair. And when that material gets dry it'll see things as dry and finish the cycle.
