Ordered it, €40 here in Europe, will be using this on my work desk. For me the stand aspect is very important. I want to be able to clear notifications or send quick response texts without having to pick up the phone. Well, I guess I'm an idiot. I bought this thinking you'd charge the wireless stand then unplug it and take the wireless charger with you anywhere with a full charge. Wireless charging is not what I thought it'd be. Shouldve done more research on my part..but honestly, wtf is the point in wireless charging if you still have to keep it plugged in? useless

what if you break your charging port? i broke the charging port on my htc m7 and that was that, also on my m8 the charging port is a little loose, like chargers fall out of the charger like maybe the pins are bent or something but if you break your charging port wireless charging is a great option. theres power banks you can buy that wireless charge though, so there out there.

i thought the same thing brother. i plugged the wireless charger stand for 1.5 hours (never indicated green light, did not fully charge) as suggested by Samsung then a green light comes on indicating the wireless charger is fully charged. Meaning i can take it with me and charge my phone wirelessly anywhere. i purchased the phone via Amazon yesterday and got it today.

My EP-NG930 (model in this video) takes over 2 hours to go from 0-100% with my S7e. Not as fast as many reviews would suggest, my guess is because they get paid to give bias reviews from Samsung or a retail distributor. Additionally, the Fast Charge stand will ONLY "fast charge" when used in conjunction with the "Adaptive Fast Charging" Adaptor (Brick portion thats plugs directly into the electrical socket) that comes with the purchase. If you use the Fast Charge stand WITHOUT the Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging Adaptor (brick) and instead just used an ordinary USB adaptor, your phone will charge AT REGULAR SPEED, and not the 2.0 faster speed. The microUSB cable can be of any brand of your choosing, however the actual adaptor (brick) which you plug into the wall MUST be a Samsung Adaptor specifically designed to support the 2,0 fast charging capability. That said, by using the wireless charging stand in one room and the Sumsung wired cable adaptor in another room, you will NOT have two "fast charging" devices as RICKY in the video here would suggest. Instead, you would have the wireless stand charger charging at "regular speed" (due to lack of Samsungs Adaptive adaptor), and the Samsung microUSB cable charging at the 2.0 "fast speed" plugged directly in your phone in the other room. 2+ hours is worth repeating. It takes me over 2 HOURS of charge-time to get my S7e from 0-100% - Not as impressive to hearing "Wireless Fast Charge", but that's just the reality of it - over two hours! You get a noticeably faster charge when you bypass the wireless stand and just plug the Adaptive Fast Charging cable directly into your phone via microUSB port - Cable plug-in charging is so antiquated and nowhere near as sexy as "wireless", but again, just the fact of the matter. Final note, you need to remember to enable the "Fast Wireless Charge" feature on your phone (for wireless fast charge), or "Fast Cable Charge" (for wired [and slightly faster than wireless] charge). If you don't, the entire setup (Wireless Fast Charge stand and Adaptive Fast Charge adaptor) will charge your phone at "regular speed".

You WILL have two methods of charging which come packaged with the new phone - I didn't dispute that fact. What I am saying is that the "FAST CHARGE" Wireless Charging Stand with NOT charge in "Fast" mode WITHOUT the "Fast Charge Adaptor". You need both special Samsung adaptor AND the wireless stand in order to Fast Charge. If you use the Fast Charge Stand WITHOUT the included Samsung Fast Charge Adaptor, you will be charging at regular speed and not the "fast speed" Samsung advertises. To further clarify, if you use the Fast Charge Adaptor and plug it in directly into you S7/S7e WITHOUT the Stand, if WILL charge fast - in fact directing charging with the Fast Charge via cable will get you an even faster charge than with the Fast Charge Stand/Fast Charge adaptor setup. But you are correct, you do get two methods of charging that come with the phone. You just have to you both in conjunction in order to get the advertised Fast Speed Charge. You do NOT get two stand-alone Fast Charging options - they must be used together.

If you used them separately and say charged with the Fast Adaptor Cable in the bedroom while using the Stand charger in the living room, ONLY the Fast Adaptor cable will be charging at "Fast" speed, and the Stand in the living room with charge at regular/slower speed when used with an adaptor other than the Fast Charge Adaptor (which you were already using in the bedroom). Both must be used together to facilitate Fast Charge feature. The alternative is to use the Fast Charge Adaptor with Fast Charge Stand in the bedroom, and then purchase a separate Samsung Fast Charge Adaptor for the living room and plug it directly into your phone. That's the only way you can have TWO genuine fast charging stations in your home.

have to plug the charger to the wall only the smartphone doesn't need to be plugged. however, it overcharged my battery. the phone was hot to the touch. I spoke to samsung it was the charger and original charger. I didn't get that problem with the wall charger to the phone. no overcharging. I returned the wireless charger for full refund.

I've exchanged 3 s7edges and tried 4 different FastWirelessCharging stands because the charging time is around 3hrs30minutes to 4hrs for a full charge. Fast charging ON, factory reset,clear cache done. Wall chargers exchanged, cables exchanged. Samsung service couldn't explain what is the issue they just exchanged my phones. I got tired of exchanging them and just gave up. All 3 were made in Vietnam and have the Exynox CPU.

I have fast wireless charger for my Edge Plus and compared to the fast wired charging it's only 15-20 minutes slower. you wouldn't leave your phone on Fast wireless charging overnight though?

I got mine today and used it so far 44 minutes gave me 52% charge fully charged phone is 1hr 55mins i thought i had to charge the charger and take it with me anywhere to wirelessly charge my phone. Disappointing and misleading. However, i'll stay with the fast charger, it has to be plugged in to the wall in order to charge my phone

Just ordered this for £19.99 from eBay. Another KZbin channel tested the charging time from flat and it charged 24% in 30 minutes. He did take the case off the phone so presumably it will be different if there is a case on the device. Time will tell.

Well I am going to tell you straight away. No way would I waste my money on any of these chargers. Why? Simple effectively all your paying for is a bloody stand. No wires my arse (LOL) Even more wires and another plug to clutter up your environment. FFS I would rather just plug my phone into my computer and charge it via a USB cable it would still do the same bloody job in the long run. My S7 edge comes with a fast charger Why on earth would I want another one. Sorry chap but this product is nothing more than a Rip Off. You may as well get yourself a nice stand to put your phone on for less than half the price of this thing, cause effectively a stand is in reality all this thing bloody is. Only a stand is even better cause it does not have no bloody wires and you do not have to plug the thing into a socket (LOL) I suggest they go back to the drawing board and make one that comes with a dongle to plug into your computer rather than a cable then that would be wireless but this is not at all.
