Samsung Fridge Freezer Ice Maker £2 Fix no BS

Here I show you how to identify some points of failure on the Samsung ice maker. In this instance the fault was the thermal fuse bought for £2 rather than replacing the unit for around £100.

What is the thermal fuse replacement part and where did you get it from. I have the same issue and unsure of what and where to buy from.

Soldering doesn’t kill the new thermal fuse?

Great question, I guess it because you only heat it for a few seconds when soldering. Also the "tails" or cable to the actual fuse was quite long.
