My Galaxy A21s fell in water for less than a few seconds. I immediately powered it off, dried it off and put it in rice to let it dry. I was unaware that water had entered the phone and. Later I noticed water damage on the display. Water had gotten between the layers of the display. The damage slowly got worse over a day or two and its so bad the display is almost unreadable. After that i began to disassemble the phone to figure out how to replace the display and thats when i discovered that the phone has no water ingress protection at all. It is not water resistant at all. The display is held on by plastic clips and is not sealed with adhesive. Any liquid intrusion can destroy the display requiring replacement.

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️Actually the phone Is not waterproof yall it will work for a while but the water will enter your device and screw up your cameras mainly and maybe a few pixels at the bottom near the charging port. I tried this on my Samsung and the phone camera was covered in water vapour and the phone was a glitching a little (rairly) I recommend putting your phone in rice for a day use the app clear wave and clean out any access with a cotten bud (headphone jack stopped working so definitely do that) ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

It is absolutely not waterproof at all. It doesn't have an IPX rating and for good reason. My A21s display was totally ruined by liquid damage. Good phone for a budget but you get what you pay for. As a compromise you cant expect it to be water resistant, and have all the features of a high end much more expensive phone.

My Samsung A21 felt in swimming pool. In the beginning was really no sing that something's wrong happend. But after it get dry screen is changing lighty brightness and also there are visible discoloration on the bottom of the screen.
