TS - thanks for the assist. This stuff is really useful. I came from a Galaxy S4 and really liked the calendar where all my appts were highlighted. On the A51 I found the part where I can change colors of things, but discovered it wasn't really changing colors of my appt notes, only little side stripes which are useless. Is the calendar configurable so I can get color highlights of my appts, like those few that are programmed in with color, like Christmas and New Years. which come with colored blocks?

you know honestly I've never really experiment with the calendar App much but while in the calendar app the 3 lines top left ha settings menu and you can customize from there. as for basics you can add different color labels and stickers for set events. I think I should do a tutorial on it.
