I'm using Samsung Galaxy A51. I had it almost 9 months now, and it is still perfect. No laggy or any problems. Honestly it was a nice and good phone.

I have been using Samsung Galaxy A51 for more than a year. Haven't found any lag or issues. Only a bit of heating issues while doing heavy multitasking for a long time. I love the display, audio quality, camera and video of this smartphone. One UI 3.1 is the best user interface I have ever experienced. I will always recommend this phone. 😊

I love the display, the size but I find myself always charging the device around 4pm. As a backup phone, it's perfect

How much are you using your phone if you have to charge a 4000mah battery by 4? On a normal workday I'm still between 70-80% on my Pixel 3a. Not a ton of screen time (calls, texts, email, a little browsing and Instagram, and podcasts and music over bluetooth for a few hours). Even if I'm using my phone a lot with videos, camera, and maps, I'm still ending the day between 20-30%.

@@eamonob84 I guess you are connected to a WiFi network hence your result. I am always on 4G and that sucks the hell out of batteries. Only time I get between 20-30% battery life is when I use a smartphone with a 5,000 mAh battery.

@@valorreviews interesting...I'm on WiFi at home but not at work (driving around all day). Obviously your usage is different from mine, but it's always interesting to see how different battery life is for people.

@@eamonob84 yeah a lot of things affect battery life. Try using your mobile network preferably on 4g the whole day and the result will definitely shock you.

I actually prefer the big brother, the A71. The A51 is actually a decent device though, but in terms of performance, I'd pick a different device for the price.

Not Exynos 9611 processor. It has terrible gaming performance and is not that good in regular uses as well.

I just bought the A51 for myself as a replacement for the older C7.... I think the finger print sensor is quite bad... 7 out of 10 times it failed to turned on the phone. I am hoping for samsung to update the firmware to correct the on-screen sensor.

Didn't experience that with the sensor. Though I think you can register thesame fingerprint twice to improve accuracy

Yes, it's just a suggestion to improve the sensor responsiveness pending when you get software updates. You can also improve touch sensitivity in settings. Personally I only use one finger and on very rare occasions use a second

*I purchased my Galaxy A51(6GB Ram,128GB storage in Prism Blue)on 1st June and here is my personal long term review* : My Usage And Needs: All I wanted was a great display , smooth OS functioning and I rarely play games , BUT I do lots of multitasking , also it helps a lot in online classes opening up PDFs , Browser , Zoom at the same time. *Display* : Its good , even in sunlight you can see the display easily without any hassle.Its 60 hertz by the way but colour accuracy and black points are GREAT. *Built Quality* : See in terms of looks, weight and feels its very light and feels premium. But its basically a plastic built so you must use a cover for longer durability. The thing is even if it falls it wont break the backside panel cuz its Glastic! (plastic) *Speakers* : Single speaker is there but good enough , not bad. You get dolby atmos feature which can be activated through external Audio device *Operating System* : Its just too good! no lags , smooth android 10 gestures , u may see lags like 4 times for milliseconds in a week or so but thats negotiable. Its UI got all Features from Galaxy Flagship lineup in terms of software. Has Samsung Knox , Altz feature , Edge lighting , bixby , always on display and soo on. Also recently samsung released the list of devices which stated that the mentioned devices will get 3 major OS upgrades in which A51 was also there!It got Lots of features p.s Since I am from India , my unit is loaded with lots of bloatware and galaxy store keeps installing third party apps , but can be unininstalled easily , for other regions its not a big deal. *Performance* : For Multitasking , RAM management and heavy editing its justtt fineeeeee. Not much of a complain here. Vut If u r a piwer hunger or power user then u may face lags or delays or heating but it gets cooled down within seconds. *Cameras* : Got all essential features that a samsung flagship has , quality is also quite acceptable. In daylight it captures great shots and capture great details *Battery* : in early days it lasted me for whole day , but I recklessly charged my device day and night even kept full charged overnight so it Damaged my battery health a little but. But it will easily get u through 7 to 9 hours easily.It got 15 watt fast charger which charges the device 0 to 100% in almost 2 hours.Little downside here *Conclusion* : I will give it a rating of 8.8 out of 10. Just go for it. *MAKE SURE U GET THE 8GB VARIANT CUZ ITS NOW CHEAPER AND VALUABLE*

Been using my A51 for almost a month now but it can only lasts for half a day (or more) but not a full day use. I charge my phone twice a day. How are you taking care of the battery? and what is your charging routine? I never overcharged it and dropped it ever since.

It's weird you're only getting half a day. You should check your battery usage stats and see which apps are using up the battery. It could be an app constantly running in the background even in idle mode

Nice review man, I agree with you Exynos processors are good but I want samsung to put more effort into those processors so that the difference between the snapdragon version won't be as noticable as it is right now. All in all the Samsung Galaxy A51 is a solid device.

The only thing I don't like about this phone is the cameras. During the day, they can take good photos, nightime...meh. If you need to take a photo of a document or a driver's license, well, good luck! It will be hell as the cameras will constantly focus on the face and not keep everything in focus. That also goes for the 5mpx macro camera. They suck. Everything else though, good enough.

My Samsung S7 edge got slowdown after 8 months and same happened in Galaxy A50.. am continuously buying Samsung but now moved to Realme and Oneplus...Samsung should sell snapdragon to all regions...

Because of software and overall device stability I'll go for the A51. It has up to 3 years software support with android upgrades. But that's by personal choice though

Yes. You're looking at long term use. For the long term the A51 will get Android 11, 12 and likely 13. The Nova 5t however may not even have Google services. But if you're cool without Google play services then you can go for the Nova 5t as long as you understand fully what it means for an android device to not have access to Google services

The phone is just perfect for the price the display is good plus the performance and I love the indisplay fingerprint.....it increased to 130k from 104k but it has the tiniest camera on all the Samsung phones

Both phones are closely speced but the Realme 6 is the more affordable. If the funds is not a problem though I'll go for the A51. Better display Better software support up to 3 years android upgrade Better camera performance.

It's covered under the 3 years promise. Just do a Google search. Flagships of 2019, higher A series (A51 and A71) and the S20 series were included. A Pixel phone gets 3 years software support as well so I won't say more. Only iPhones get more than 3 years support. As for the phone being slow, do you own an A51 or used one?
