@@NicD09 It depends on your model and luck. Luck is a big factor on this. I keep my electronics in prestine condition. My 6 yr old one looks like new still. But one hand test is a good metric to gauge hinge quality. That was my point irrespective of mine arr broken or not.

I love the software the seemless connection with galaxy devices and features like quick search, Scalable Codec support(seriously windows also needs to support more Bluetooth codecs)etc are things if you try once you can't live without them.

It is September 2021 and I'm commenting from the USA. I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro with 16 GB Memory. Mystic Blue Color. So thin, so light! I love it! As to the keyboard feel, excellent. Screen resolution excellent. Overall, I just love it! By the way I paid $1300, on sale at Best Buy but now it is $1500. I love USB-C.

I Love, Love these Laptops. Everything I’ve been wanting in a laptop. Number pad, 16X10, weight is insane, the only issue is the screen. I absolutely love my Dell 9500 15.6” UHD+ (3840 x 2400) Infinity Edge with the 16:10 Sharp IGZO Touch Anti-Reflective Display with 500 nits. On my Dell I miss the number pad, but I hate the weight. I’m confused over the screen choices on the Galaxy? Also I love the speed of my unit and I don’t see anything close to my Dell with 10th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-10875H (16MB Cache, up to 5.1 GHz, 8 cores). I will by this unit in a heartbeat with these two issues resolved. Screen and Power. Again, I loved you post given your limitations. Ted

Your Dell really is far better than this laptop. I don't see why you'd want to swap. If you were coming from a very old laptop or weak one, then sure, but you'd find yourself limited in several areas compared to the dell.

This could have been a big competitor for MacBooks if they used ryzen 5000 or even 4000 series. Intel chips is no way near Apple's silicone in terms of battery, thermals, and most importantly performance.

This Odissey laptop will live or die by their processor choice. If they're using Intel Tiger Make H35, then it's straight to the bin. It will only be worth if they're using Intel H45.

The biggest advantage of Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 is spen, which is equivalent to the third-party wacom mobile studio pro. It is very suitable for artists. On Windows devices, there are few devices with wacom EMR technology. Only a few Samsung and Acer models are still in use. Wacom EMR technology is the best handwriting pen technology, much better than apple pencil.

TTTC, did you happen to notice significant chassis flex on the 15" pro? Just wondering since the short circuit unboxing (the LTT unboxing channel) that Alex did on that channel showed really significant flex, so much so that when Alex held the laptop with one hand from the bottom, it clicked in the trackpad (meaning you can click the trackpad from the bottom (rear plastic panel) of the device. I know you haven't had much time with the thing, but I'm hoping that is something you check out for your full review if possible.

These new laptops, just gave me tingles, especially with their sharing and quick pair methods. I use Google Messenger for work and Teams, which are native to both Windows and Mac. Depending on what you find when you finally get a review unit...this might be the final push for me to break away from Apple. Great video as always.

Can't wait for the side by side comparison. For me I can see Big plus is the M1X over Intel....love to hear the true comparison for performance that includes throttling, heat, battery life etc. I like the keypad on the Samsung. I like the 500nit rate on the samsung for outdoor use...but the new macbook may be better with the mini led. Reliability is also key. I think the MBP will win with the M1X that enables a better battery life and video editing.....but of course more $$. Thanks can't wait.....but I will hold off until you can do a side by side with the new MBP and Samsung 15. Keep up the great work Chap!

Hi there thanks for the review, I chatted with the customer service UK about the difference between Amoled screen, Galaxy Pro and the Super Amoled, Galaxy Pro 360. Their answer were: 'Super AMOLED is better because it can have 20% brighter screen, 20% lower power consumption and 80% less sunlight reflect'. For some reviews I can not see the difference in the glossy screen on both models... can you tell me if at least is 20% brighter in the latter?

If I didn't need a dedicated GPU for video editing and was strictly productivity or photography based I'd snap up that 13" Pro in a heartbeat as my next laptop. The i5 is so close to the i7 that there's not much downside to it, and the OLED screen and 870g weight is stunning as a media consumption machine. Best looking laptops on the market as a whole, and I include the Book S, the Chromebooks and the Book Flex in that assessment. They know how to make a pretty laptop.

It all boils down to a fair performance and how long the battery lasts, if you cant use It on the go, then It has no point on being a laptop, I dont like Macbooks and Apple products but in terms of battery life / performance relation, theyre the absolute kings with no competition today.
