People aren't buying these if they want that plugged isolation feeling. They are buying them because they can't stand that feeling or just can't wear in ear tips. Reviewers gotta stop comparing the two. These are a totally separate category.

Exactly I can't withstand the rubber ear tips it falls out of my ears and if they don't it will hurt in a few hours and het that enjoying pressure feeling

A flawed design is a flawed design. You cannot achieve very good sound in practical use with this style. Sure, it is a separate category that compromises for reasons, but sound quality and fit consistency is a factor for both categories and should be compared/contrasted. There is another related problem in that they are in the galaxy buds line, and they use the same product terminology for both designs. Why would galaxy buds 3 and galaxy buds 3 pro be completely different in this way? Better distinguish these so that casual buyers aren't disappointed with the experience

@@DeusRegum Heh? Are you making a point? if you watched the video, he states it is an industry wide problem and that is the framing of this topic. As an aside, I have never bought air pods (for myself), but the one thing they do is have fewer design changes, so somewhat less confusion by their customers. But audio quality for Apple Isa bit behind samsung in these categories and their products don't appeal to me enough. I'm content with galaxy buds2 pro. This next iteration is regression in design

Samsung has the buds 3 pro that address alot of this reviews gripes. The buds 3 are an open design on purpose, if you want silicon tips and a more secure fit they have the buds 3 pro.

Not everybody finds IEMs comfortable. Earbuds are a compromise, yes. But they’re a compromise that I’m glad big players like Apple, and Samsung/Harman are working with.

Bruh, that's the point of that type of earphones. Like ??? The people buying the normal buds 3 aren't buying them because of the seal, they're buying them because of the comfort.

AirPods pull in more revenue than most entire companies. They are successful for a reason. They fit most ears and the stem design allows for better mic design for calls and additional controls like touch swipe for volume that regular earbuds don't have. Earbuds without silicone tips are still wanted by a large amount of people who don't like the sensation of having their ears plugged. Also, the lack of noise isolation is beneficial to those who go out for a run in outdoor environments and need to be aware of their surroundings.

I recently switched from Galaxy Buds2 to Buds3 because the Buds2 caused some discomfort in my ear canals. Interestingly, this wasn’t due to the silicone tips-I actually like how well they seal. The Buds3, on the other hand, initially felt like they would fall out easily. However, even with vigorous head-shaking, they stay in place-though not as firmly as the Buds2. It feels almost like magic, and my ears are noticeably more comfortable now. A significant drawback, though, is the lack of assurance that the Buds3 won’t fall off during a bus ride.

I'm just glad to know that I'm not the only one having a problem with fit. Samsung needs to fix this problem & allow us to trade for ones that actually fit. Customer service is no help. The agent couldnt grasp it when i explained the problem.

Wish I'd watched this before asking my hubby to buy them for me. Now I can't use them as they keep popping/sliding out of my ears. I've gone back to my buds 2 pro.

This is the first time I've actually heard someone name what causes the irritation with the ear tips. At this point it seems to he a big enough issue that companies should list it.

This is one of the reasons I use over the ear headphones now. It's just too hard to get a good fit and right seal with in-ear earbuds.

Samsung nailed it with the Galaxy Buds Plus wingtips, then went in the order directions. I have the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, the fit is much better, but I when I do sporting activities they begin to work themselves out.

Hmm, maybe its just my ears, but these fit really good. The bass is almost overwhelmingly punchy. And I was in a plane yesterday and the NC completely blocked the plane sound, it was dead silenct

I bought Buds 3 Pro for myself, and I bought the regular Buds 3 for my bf. I find myself liking the Buds 3 more than the Buds 3 Pro because they are more comfortable. I came from Galaxy Buds 2, and those are much more comfortable than the 3 Pro.

AirPods v1 fit me amazingly. V4 also fit rather well. There’s many people out there that DESPISE silicone & foam tips for good reason.

samsung shouldve kept the wing tip. It fit better in the ear and feels more comfortable. I recently purchased the Bud 3 pro and Ill have to say that it is very uncomfortable. Its not the best fit it hurt my ears wearing them for a long time and everyday. I hope samsung comes out with a better one next year.

Hate the fit of these which sucks because the have so many great features... But with that said I regret the purchase and I'm passed the point of being able to return them. Buds pro 2 still work great and have a great fit

I can surprisingly run around and do 45 minutes of jumping Jack's while chewing tobacco and they never popped out. I even spared for 2 rounds and it took a uppercut to pop them off

I missed my point of return 😢 I got a good fit, 1 out of literally 100's of tries. I've tried all of the tips with no difference. I'm so frustrated that I could throw them away! I'm super mad at myself for trading in my Pro2 buds.

People who are serious about earbuds know that memory foam tips are superior to silicone for fit and comfort. Get foam tips from Comply and 9/10 you'll have solved both fit and comfort issues

They fit mines perfect. Everybody's ears aren't shape the same so not all will fit you.

@blackice51374 yeah mine fit just fine with the small tips but generally okay with the otger ines. The fit will worsen if the tips get too waxy so first me its about keeping the tips clean which I do at the end of every day usually

Luckily i have thw galaxy buds fe because i love the in ear design and i really hate the design of the buds 3 because it doesn't fit into my ears it always feels it will fall out and with the buds fe i don't have a problem with that 😊

What is the point of this channel? Yes, open buds have issues. Everyone knows this. But there is a significant amount of users that prefer this style. Maybe they prefer to have some ambient noise to feel more alert to the surroundings. Maybe they really don't like silicone tips in their ears. Maybe in-ear buds aren't comfortable for them. And while I personally am not part of this group and would recommend the pros, I can still appreciate that there are many out there that want them. Also, have you even thought to consider that maybe this product is geared more towards CHILDREN? Maybe they fit smaller ears better. Cause I mean, I want my 12 year old to enjoy their music or videos but I'm not buying them $250 earbuds. They can enjoy the $150 ones or save up for the pros...but my limit is $150. Anyway, that's just my take on why Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro. They're adult & child models. They're the buds you buy your kid to see if they are responsible enough for Pro model devices...if they come crying like a month later that they lost one of the buds, then you know they aren't ready for Pros.

I can attest to what you're saying. I've tried all three sizes of ear tips, and all are a poor fit. Pretty disappointing. I was hoping for better from Samsung. I'll still use them for listening to podcasts in quiet places, but I have a feeling they won't be taking the top spot over my Sony WH-1000MX4 over ear headphones.

So they fall out the dummy ears. Did you stick them in your ears? Plastic/rubber isn't skin. They'll grip up differently.
