Even i uses the first one ,,now now upgraded to buds plus. In voice quality ,,there is no major change ,,but call quality and battery changed a lot. And definitely feel little more superior .

The original buds are great, no need to upgrade unless you're making a lot of calls with them. Nobody likes me, so I rarely talk on the phone, so call quality isn't that important ;)

For those who wants a little more volume: Uncheck the: "Turn off A2DP hardware offload" and enable the "Disable absolute volume" from the developer options. There you will see a difference. Give some bass and treble from the equalizer but not at the top of the 2 left and right lines. You will have less volume if you do. I get great bass and volume. I am a music producer at the Hellenic Public Radio for 28 years, and i ike the perfomance of those buds.

I forgot all about that feature which is great because I use long press on my old ones and these for assistant and ambient sound. I LOVE my buds+. so glad I waited for the +, instead of getting the 1gen. in the beginning it was almost mindblowing listening to your own music and hear what's going on around you, and now I can't live without it. and the double tap edge volume is also amazing, I've gotten a few questions from neighbors why I tap my ear left and right when I'm waking the dog. it's SO hassle free. no need to take up your phone to change the volume. AND OMG THE SIZE! I have them with me everywhere. my last wireless headset (U flex) did not fit in my pocket well.

I just got these today for my iphone! I was looking for something to replace my 3 yr old 1st gen airpods! The sound on the buds plus is amazing! I keep switching back and forth from them to my airpods to compare the sound quality, and the bud plus is truly better! The app for them on ios works great as well! If you are an iphone user who is looking for another choice and saves you a bit more money compared to the airpod price, then i highly recommend the buds plus! Also if you are in canada, and a goodlife memeber, then you can get these for $169 with your vip membership! a great deal!

Buds + are amazing! They're lightweight. Sometimes I forget they're in my ears. With ambient on, if i crank it all the way up, I can ease drop on my kids when they're in the next room over.

Finally been waiting for this for some time now. 👌 Another quality video. This is the most detailed review I've seen anyone done. I would've liked the buds to have a click or 2 more in volume for some songs that aren't that loud. But fixed it using an app. Then I started doing some digging up to hear if I can make then sound better I set up an adapt sound profile for them on my s20 ultra and it did improve the sound ever so slightly and I find that turning on Dolby atmos further refines that improvement preferably using auto instead of music. This channel definitely deserves millions of subscribers for all the awesome content.

Heyy nice video! Btw you can easily pair to a new device if you hold down the touch pad of both sides for 5 seconds until you hear a bleeping sound. You only have to do this once per device. It should remember up to 8 devices at the same time. After its paired you can switch to the other device by just connect to it from a new device. But indeed it's not the full multiple device function as with other new products. And be aware that apple users will have all options in the app except for the extra function in labs settings. Like the gaming function for example, that won't be supported on the apple app. Hope this helps some people out.

I have the buds+ and they are certainly the clear winner for me when compared to the original galaxy buds. Also the call quality was knocked out of the park too. I hope the next iteration of the buds will have improved water resistance and actual multi pairing but the buds+ get my stamp of approval as well

I am using the first gen Galaxy Buds since their launch and I am still lovinh them. But on the Buds+, call quality is way better than on the originals ! I am not planning to upgrade because mine Buds still work perfectly with my Galaxy S10e ❤❤ Very good review Thao, as usual 👍👍

I tend to get ear fatigue with mine and sometimes feel like I’m wearing ear plugs. But they definitely have never fallen out no matter what I’m doing. Great review 👍

Hey I also got the buds+ and you didn't have to disconnect from the previous device. I use it on both my Samsung phone and my MacBook pro. To make the switch, you just have to tap connect on the preferred device and it'll automatically disconnect from the previous device and connect, takes less than 2 seconds.

Not two touchpads. The edge volume option uses the motion sensor in the buds which is why you can tap your ear to change the volume. No actual touch required. The other controls do require touching the pad on the buds.

I just got mine yesterday, and they're not bad. The sound quality is decent, and the convenience sure in nice. The problem I have, is that I can't help but compare everything to wired headphones that I use for enjoying music. These, and all others including the airpods pros my wife owns, pales in comparison to good wired headphones for sound quality. Great review, thank you.

Just got my pair and I like how the buds detect when it's in the ear, that way you don't tap the bud when you have it off the ear. Another thing is changing tracks work on both buds, if you have the left hand free and double tap the left bud, it still changes to the next track. That's a plus for me

TY so much for this amazing review! I own a Galaxy S8 and been looking for a good pair of portable headphones for on the go. I currently own the Apple Beats wireless 2 headphones, but as someone who wears glasses, they become uncomfortable and hurt my ears very quickly. They're also bulky to carry around might I add. After using the pair of original Galaxy Buds I gave my brother for Christmas last year, they surprisingly feel comfortable in my ear unlike other brands of in ear buds which tend to feel uncomfortable and put too much pressure. So I will be purchasing the buds + soon! 🙂

One common issues with these buds is that the left or the right bud disconnects and if manage to get it connected it will disconnect again and again . This happened to me the very same day I bought and returned it the next day .. this was the only issue but I loved these buds sound and connectivity was great . Haven't seen reviewers mention this .. so keep in mind while buying these ..

You can connect to multiple devices and switch between devices without disconnecting, but it only works on Android devices and you have to use the Wearable app to do the switching.
