Thanks man, that really helped me out. No passwords work no old passwords worked. Nothing worked, Google no work, locate my phone no work, amsubg acct no worked, nothing worked, because I already had done a factory data reset and could not get a password in there to turn back on the Wi-Fi. These phones are weird. My father's phone locked up on him out of nowhere. Was asking for lock patterns when he never had one set. Wouldn't connect to any Bluetooth devices. Apps disappeared etc. Great video

Thanks a bunch, I was trying to us an old Samsung J3 just with my home wifi but I had the think locked and couldn't remember the pattern to unlock it. My phone has the solid back built in battery so could not take it out. Plus, it also needed the unlock pattern to turn off the phone which was weird. Thankfully I was able to get to the screen to do the factory reset during a restart. Phone is up and running. Yay !!

Thanks! But I wish I had seen this BEFORE taking my phone to my local service provider to have THEM try to reset it! They could not figure out how to do it since the G board on my phone locked me out. They only told me to get a new phone! I was very disappointed! I ended up getting a galaxy j2 for replacement. However, I STILL have my galaxy j3 prime, I watched your video & actually unlocked it. I only keep it now as a backup phone in case I lose my new phone. NOW I know what to do next time. I Just never thought of looking up a how to unlock phone video until it was too late! Just sad.
