Hi I hope you are still picking up your comments against this post, it was very informative and you are really clear with your instructions so thank you but as I have no idea about techy stuff when it comes to mobile phones, what's the difference between a hard reset and soft reset? I want to erase all my data from my Samsung J3 so I can give it to my sister to use, I've got a Samsung A40 now and everything has been transferred to my new phone so just want to be sure I have removed everything from the J3 before passing it on, which is the best reset option to do this, the Hard Reset or the Soft Reset.
