Just got a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for Christmas! I’m thrilled!! I have a graphics design salon in New York and I can see me doodling ideas on the go. Then because I'm on AT&T's 4GLTE I can send the ideas to my clients or myself at home even before the battery dies! Ha!

Fantastic reviews. SO many features covered that were not mentioned in other reviews. have the Note OG and think this is a huge upgrade and will be getting it. I have no idea why so many Apple fans said it was not a big deal different when it was announced. It is a huge improvement on the OG Note. Not so much can be said about the difference between the iPhone 5, 4s and 4.

After having this phone for more than 2 years, it is still going strong. I can play most games without any lag or slowdown, and it's working quickly. But I have to confess that it is rooted and I flashed in a custom ROM. But still...

I bought this three days ago and I am very happy with it. Especially all of the editing that can be done with the S-pen. It makes my commute go by very fast. I am about to buy addition memory this evening. It can do multiple things at once which is awesome. The speaker on it is good. Watching videos or reading at night before I sleep is a joy on this huge screen. Just what I wanted, a phone that is also a tablet. Previously I had an iphone...no regrets.

Agreed. I had the Note and have had the Note 2 for about a week now.. AWESOME. I was not unhappy with my Note and a very happy family member is about to inherit it but the 2? wow... it is simply beyond brilliant.

Great review; The S-Pen seems to be a really useful feature, and has really been thought of well. Just want to know, does the Note 2 have an Office type app Pre installed, and also, how is the experience with the "CloudOn" app?. Also, out of curiosity, just want to know if you can connect a USB drive to the phone through an adapter? Lastly, do gou need a virus guard of Android, and does it get vieuses as such?I have no experience with Android, so just asking.

I did something i never had done before in 10 years of having At&t service.I fell in love with the Samsung Note 1 so much i purchased it outright no contract.This after owning 4 generations of iphone.Both phones are great but hands down i can do more with the Note.

I just got my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 3 days ago and i LOVE it! But then i came across the Samsung Galaxy S4. I won't get a new phone until my 2 year contract expires in 2015. I can live with that for two years.. i just hope Samsung will impress me that year with a phone that i will buy.

I have had this Note 2 for just over 2 weeks. It is quite simply brilliant. I have the first Note and that is brilliant. But this phone is exceptional. I have barely scratched the surface if its capabilities. I have it on Vodafone here in the UK.

I've had the iphone4s for a year...switched to the s3 a couple months ago...the phone is a BEAST!! Love it but now I want the note 2...I'm a student so I think it would be perfect!!!

It will be, it's getting announced on the 24th and will be available in stores before Thanks Giving. It will also pack the same internals as the international (Exynos 4412@1.6GHz 4 core, 2GB RAM, etc.).

Yes, Wednesday is when the Note II will be announced for 5 us carriers (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular)&their release dates as well. Most of the release dates have already been leaked, but Samsung has already promised it'll be out before mid November, and most will have it before the end of the month.

that was said when the only way to use a touch screen was by a stylus.. this is used for people who love to draw or do art or take notes on the fly! Even without the stylus the phone is just as good, its just a fun accessory!

Yes I know, which proves my point. Soooo I don't see what you're trying to get at. I said "What's the point in having a 6-8 core phone when the max the phone will ever use is 4?" Obviously a phone wouldn't fully use 8 cores; it would burn up in minutes without fans.

That depends on the file size of the song. This phone has 16/32/64 GB options, songs are usually around 2.5 - 3 MB in size, there are ~1,000 MB in 1 GB so that's ~6,400 songs for the 16 GB model, ~12,800 songs on the 32 GB model, and ~25,600 songs on the 64 GB model. Obviously that's only if you used to phone to store songs, I hope that kind of gives you an idea of how much music it can store. Oh, and you can always get an SD card for more storage (up to 64 more GB)

I love this! I couldn't wait for all the contracts on Verizon to run out so I got the s3. Love that too. This would have been my first choice though. Here's hoping it moves over to Verizon like the i-phone originally did after a couple years of exclusive at&t.

I think what they mean is.. if you can deal with the size&price of the Note II, nothing compares in terms of features, and its performance is flawless. So get the Note II, but check first to see if it's not too big (cause for a lot of people it is). But if the Note II is too big, the SGS3 is still a powerhouse of features&it's performance is nearly as good. It is also cheaper&will receive JB probably before the end of the year in the US (JB is already out internationally).

I recomend check if your critical apps on Iphone have equivalent in Android. In my case all replaced with better or equivalet apps.

I just checked on the postal-service homepage where my Note II package was located. It was about 5 hours away from delivery, so I might actually get it before the weekend. Got to hate the wait though, even if it comes tomorrow. I hate waiting. =)

I have just bought a new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and am very happy. It bother me is that the volume buttons on the left side feels a little loose. You can fiddle with them and rocking them back and forth. I never had a Samsung phone before and wonder if it should be so?

No, the i-phone 5 does not 'allow' you to change your battery. Yes, it can be done but for folks that want to know how, look here (/watch?v=pDGTjCYzsYY) I simply pop the back cover off and battery just comes out... I wonder how that rates on iFixit..lol How do you know iSyncr is full of glitches.. have you ever used it? Yes.. the i-phone 5 benches well but that doesn't make the S3 slow and which S3 are you talking about.. the dual or quad core int'l version? There are ads in Apple apps as well.

Not an unreasonable request but you might want to add the ability to change out your battery, run any app you want and be able to customize your phone......... sounds like the Samsung S3 with iSyncr would fit the bill perfectly. I have a not so sneaky suspicion that's not what you wanted to hear.

If you really can't choose, go to an AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint store and check them out (unless you're in a college where you can't go off campus) For me, I have the Galaxy S3 and I love it. People might comment on the size of a Note 2, as people already comment on the size of my S3, but it's really enjoyable to watch videos and play games on the Note 2. Note 2 has a faster processor, so it's faster than the S3 and iPhone 5. Go for it if you want. S3 or Note 2, both are amazing!
