Before watching your video, I was wondering how strong is Gorilla Glass Victus, and was thinking should I get a screen protector for my Samsung Note 20 Ultra. But by putting on a screen protector on the screen, it will compromised the function of the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and made it totally unable to scan any fingerprint. Thanks for the video. I am watching this video to find out what are the stress tests can Samsung Note 20 Ultra withstand. You had answered my queries. Now I'm convinced that Samsung Note 20 Ultra can survive day to day rugged usage without compromising the integrity of the screen from scratches. But I still believe it should be equipped with a drop protection casing for any accidental drops. After watching the Samsung Note 20 Ultra drop tests by CNET, I understand that gorilla glass victus will still crack after drop from a certain height beyond 6ft height. Thank you very much!!!

I also have a Note 20 Ultra and use a screen protector with case. I don't use the fingerprint scanner so it's worth the compromise. Your screen will still get microscratches over time but it won't be noticeable.. I'd still recommend a screen protector with the screens costing half a grand.

Try wash the spen port im sure u will get green screen upper screen no touchable or ghost touch which the phone touch something without me touching it fingerprint not responding to touch worst of all no network don't make this kind of video my test my note10 beside all the above issue the camera become blur and some part of the screen Can't write at all bring to repair shop they said water damage the mother board perhaps the screen too u should upload another follow up video whether there is any water damage so don't put your to water guys can see my proof video on my channel this video is misleading people wash their phone even though note10 have ip68 it not at the spen port i guess even though it survive after wash but no network is useless for a phone n This phone is a downgrade compare to previous note it only have 120° ultra wide instead of 123° and the phone not really water resistant can see my water test failed video it not worth at all with that high price imagine water damage on a ip68 phone with that high price tag its really disappointing

Don't buy Samsung phones. I bought Samsung Note 9 in september 2018. On March 2020 i got an OTA update and that damaged my display. I started getting yellowis green tint. In few months my entire screen was blured out and horizontal black line was all over my screen. When i reported to Samsung customer care about the incident, they asked me to take it to customer care to re install the "Firmware". I took it to Service center, payed them Rs 250 for re installing the firmware and the guy comes and tells me, reinstalling the firmware did not fix the issue and they have to replace entire screen. The screen replacement cost Rs18000. The phone is just 1 and half years old and not even a scratch on the phone and the display goes off with no fault on a customer. I was upset and did not opt for screen replacement. After that when i checked on google. Most of them are facing the same issue with March 2020 OTA update. This is a scam by Samsung. Also people have reported samsung has not bothered to respond or try to provide a fix from their end. After buying an expensive phone for Rs 65000, they send a OTA update and screw up your display and either make you buy a new phone or replace a screen that cost about a new phone. Please beware of this scam by samsung.

Like I imagine the new Note 20 Ultra phones sitting in the warehouse talking about the lives they're going to have with their new owners all giddy, but then an old, beat up Note 10+ comes in with bruises and scratches and glitches and his S pen now serves as a peg leg and he talks about his time in the torture chamber of the likes of Jerry Rig Everything and laments at the fact that his friend never came back from this guy's house, and instantly the new Note 20 Ultras are overcome with fear and horror. Flash forward to this video and this poor phone is just remembering the warnings of that old note 10+ and he finally realized... The legend was true. Anyone else? No, just me? Okay....

I tried to put my note 20 ultra in bucket of water for 30 seconds, But within a minute my phone camera got condensation and i'm unable to use my camera for last 3 weeks... and my side button stopped working. im on international trip and the phone dosent cover international warranty.. I had to go back to my home country and get it replaced / serviced in the service center.

The IP68 & even in IP67 devices, will allow bucket submersion for many hourz without damage, we have even tested inside freezer till frozen ice! Condensation should recover in time! 0r the effectiveness of the IP68 in your Note 20 has somehow reduced, did you drop your phone 0r something!?

@@DennisCNLew they opened my phones back for camera glass replacement, and as we all know now all samsung phone's back were sticked with glue. I mean to say that only back were opened otherside not an single workdone. And will take care from water...😅 Thanks for the reply 👍🏻

I've only owed one Samsung , and my issue is how hard it is to protect the curved screen. I had to buy a wallet type case and it was the best option at the time about 3 years ago !!!
