Thanks a lot for this! How would you rate the performance difference in day-to-day use (just Instagram, KZbin, WhatsApp etc.)? I hate the fact that Samsung screws over certain regions with the Exynos...

Thank you for the comments! In my experience, on a daily basis, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference really, maybe some animation isn't as polished on the Samsung and that's it. But, it gets warm real quick, just from the light tasks it can get pretty warm around the camera bump section. I do agree on the Exynos on the international version though, Samsung could do better than that!

@@ThinkViewGlobal it's a real shame... The Snapdragon version of the Note is pretty much the perfect phone for me but importing one is just too much of a hassle. Now it's pretty much a tossup whether you go for slightly better performance or a slightly better camera (there are way more things to keep into consideration but you get the gist). I might need another night of sleep before I pull the trigger.

If I were you, I'll wait for around 2 to 3 months before I buy a Samsung phone. By then, the price will drop quite a bit and you won't be losing out much. Happy spending!

Let’s just say that I used the note (exynos) in a Store and scrolling through the home screen and app drawer we’re laggy. I noticed frame drop outs! The oneplus was next to it and the software is just gorgeous! Not too sure how I like the roundness of the oneplus tho, really a fan on the note.

@@LL-qm3sl tried out both in-store as well and both were really fast so I can't replicate your Note 20 experience. However I must agree that Oxygen OS beats OneUI out of the water (even though the new Oxygen OS 11 is basically a rip-off of OneUI). Decided to get the Note 20 Ultra however for the better overall user experience for me personally

Loved the video! I have been debating between the OnePlus 8 Pro and the Note 20 Ultra. This is really the only good comparison video I could find. Coming from a Pixel 3 XL. Was planning on getting a Pixel 5 but it's not looking like what I want anymore not that it's looking to be more of a mid range phone... Big good screen and great camera are the most important things to me.

Informative and user friendly (daily user) review!! Sucks that I live in Europe and can only get the exynos chip hence I won’t buy it. Not too sure about the oneplus display issues and seeing the 8T pro coming with couple significant upgrades soon, I won’t buy it either!! Guess I’ll have to wait and see what the iPhone 12 models or the 8T offer!!

I have used both samsung has more option to customize...also if you use S pen just get a note doesn't matter which one. Also trust me camera on samsung are great. I have both phones with me right now. Oxygen OS has weird bugs which I do not see in my samsung

You’re wrong on Samsung specs. Note 20 ultra comes with 12gb and Snapdragon 860+ which is far better than OnePlus 8 pro. Other than this overall good video. 👍🏻

@Shreshta Jaiswal lol it really does. I have had to charge this phone before 5 pm everyday since I got it. I been waiting on it to "learn my patterns", with no success yet. Also no 45w charging makes it worse than my old n10+

@Shreshta Jaiswal 8 hours of heavy usage would be great,but that's not the case. Most of the time it's in my pocket not even in use. The most I do is watch KZbin vids on lunch and occasionally music. With this usage I should get home to 50%+ easily,but I get home with maybe 20

@Shreshta Jaiswal you may be right I might have a defective unit then. I'll probably get them to trade mine out. As for performance there is no complaints. The phone performs superbly besides my battery. 1 other issue is connectivity. For some reason when I switch from WiFi to mobile I lose all data connections until I close apps then optimize the phone.
