Antutu benchmark is showing exynos has better cpu and snapdragon as the better gpu. I bet none of these differences make any real difference in real life while using the phone

deafyboy86 I think you're right about the balance thing. 805 cpu is basically the 800. Lazy Qualacom. Exynos 7 is really fast, a fast gpu needs a fast cpu and I feel the the more than a year old technology of the 805 cpu is bottlenecking the adreno gpu. Maybe

No, I'm not a fanboy of Huawei. You on the other hand are an ignorant. The reality is that you won't notice any difference between FHD and 2K display of that size unless you put your phone an inch away from your eyes. Note 4 has a better display only because of the SAMOLED technology which gives much more vibrant colors then any IPS panel. However Mate has a bigger display by 0.3 inches and looks 10 times better than new Samsung's wonderkid.

Was the 64-bt test run on the Note 4? Also someone who is knowledgeable in this area explain if it is possible to run a 64-bit app on a 32-bit OS. My current knowledge tells me it isn't. The OS won't let the app store more that 32bit integers in memory. Am I correct in saying this? Also, if 64bit apps cannot run on 32bit OS then that means this note 4 was benchmarked using a 32bit test still managing to get a score of 49k+ and when tested using the 64bit test, the score would be leaps and bounds higher! But somehow this seems too much improvement in one iteration of the product line. GAAH I don't know what is happening :(

I believe it is possible to run 32bit apps on a 64bit OS but not the other way round.

Things are more complicated than that. First, you can run an application written for a 34-bit on 64-bit OS. Lower portion of the RAM is used for 32-bit applications and some of the memory is filled with unnecessary data to align 32-bit values in 64-bit entries. Some of the applications written for 64-bit OS can run on a 32-bit OS, but slower. You should care the wording I use, I said "written for" not "compiled for". An application compiled for a 64-bit OS won't run on 32-bit OS but an application written for a 64-bit OS won't run on 32-bit OS. Most of the apps in Android is compiled on the Host Machine, since it is Java and all Java Runtime Environments are byte-code compatible. Things goes like this. There are a lot of things to consider. Also if you are optimized an app to use 64-bit variables everywhere and run on a 32-bit OS (or Environment), it runs slower, depending on the algorithms.

lightninghell4 yes, Antutu test on Android Lollipop should run better. I am not sure of the internal works of the Antutu test but you should see better results in double calculations and 64-bit Integer calculations. Probably you won't see any improvement on hardware access speed.

My Mate 7 32GB version scored 44087 by switching battery saving mode for "Smart" to "Normal"

This test is probably run with Snapdragon 805 version of Galaxy Note 4. I run this test with my Galaxy Note 4 which has Exynos 8-core. Althere there are services still running in the background, my Galaxy Note 4 (with Exynos 8-core CPU) resulted with 50160 points.

Viktoras K. Thats odd ive seen benchmarks of lgg3 before buying the onplus one because i was undecided and on antutu it gets 44k and above. Maybe you have some apps running in the background that lower your performance like clean master, anti vírus.....i suggest you use wakelock detector and greenify to help you with that and at the same time save you some battery
