I bought my mate7 almost month ago now and I love it. Despite it doesnt have a built in eq you can still download one. About the battery- I personally managed to drain the battery to zero in about 6 or so hours,but I was playing games nonstop on highest brightness and on normal battery mode so no wounder. When you are listening to music,surfing in the internet and using apps and playing games(not like me for 6h),the device lasts a day with ease,leaving me at the very least 50% battery. Overall this is a very good phone love the software and the design of the phone. Thank you android authority for recomending it.

How the hell do are people saying they get 2 days of battery on this thing listening to music, surfing the web, using apps etc. All I get is like 10-12 hours tops with normal use! Do I have a faulty unit or something? It is a great device otherwise, but, battery is my top priority, so I am planning to switch to Mi4! My friend has a Mi3, and he gets almost 3 days on one charge! Any thoughts?

shashi bhushan kunda Note 4 has features that the regular person would not use or care about. i.e. Virtual reality is useless to a large portion of people who buy the phone, it might seem cool for a while but that won't last long. QHD displays exist on other phones as well like the all new Nexus 6. Note 4 isn't a phone I would buy, and judging by recent news, many others agree.

Mike McManus Huawei ascend mate2 has two edition using different cpu.one is snapdragon,other one is kirin 910. why huawei use snapdragon400 is american goverment ask huawei use american chip.since mate7 is based on huawei's own kirin925, it will not appear in us market. HAM2 using kirin910 has got 4.4.2 update two months ago like my mate2.

I can't wait to test the Mate 7 myself once it is available at the malls here in the Philippines. I can see that Huawei is really doing a great serious job at competing against big players like Sony, HTC, LG and Samsung for Android and of course Apple with their iPhones. Huawei has done a really good job at the design of the Mate 7 and the battery is a big factor why I am considering this as my device after Christmas. Nkw I am happy with my Zenfone 5 that's for sure but when I switch to a higher end device, this could be it for or the Google Nexus 6 or the Moto Maxx! :)

Saw this phone today. Was the first I'd heard of it. I was pleasantly surprised. Awesome screen, tiny bezel. Snappy interface. Only downsides for me were the 32gb storage (I would like at least 64gb for my next phone) and the price. However the price is appropriate and plenty of people will be happy with 32gb. This phone is a serious contender. I have a note 2 and a 6 inch screen is looking like my next upgrade. Great review. Thanks! :) x

love this phone, love the design, love the way how they customize the notification panel, look really awesome, but im not going to buy it with 700$, with this price, i can easily buy a Note 4, or for few more bucks to get ip6+. So, anyway, nice, but the chinese brand is chinese brand, not at same level or class with Apple or even Samsung. *REAL REVIEW* AFter approximately 2 years of using this phone. I am here to write what I think about this phone. Im a heavy user, heavy user in the sense, I access roots, I use nfc, I use GPS, I use the hotspot. I use the email functions. Basically Use it to the core. One word; It is AMAZING. It gets more than just the job done. Wifi? It has one of the most powerful WIFI I ever used. It can penetrate several distances compare to my other phones. It does not have issues being a hotspot connection either. Where I have connected 5 devices at the same time. And It works perfectly. But little hiccup sometimes, rarely happens when I try to connect computers unto the hotspot hosted by huawei. All I have to do is just connect and wait. It will sort out on its own. Hotspot is fairly stable. It can last up to hours! and it never disconnects any devices that is connected to it. So you can work on the go. GPS? It works brilliantly. Accuracy is up to 99.9 percent! Plays Pokemon Go, Waze etc. Grab Uber. It can run multiple apps at the same time. with no problem! it has a huge cache thus it does not close those apps which are in the back ground running. sound is okay, louder than most phone. But use headset to maximize your experience. I watch movies on this phone! Battery? Bloody great! Despite two years using it heavily! the battery still holds! it does nt loses its battery capacity! charging? Very good, it charges quite quickly. Screen? is tough! I broke mine tho! but this phone has fell more times than I could imagine before finally giving up! The Cameras? Are Sharp Quality!! HD resolution! Speking of resolution did I mention the quality of the LCD? BLOODY AMAZING! Size? Size is just okay, not too big not too small. depending on your hands. but definitely comfortable to play on for hours! I expect this phone to have some second hand value. Because it is just damn reliable. I hope when Huawei reads this, they will send me another phone to try. Ill be happy to try and stretch it to the maximum! Syncing with computer? The software huawei suite is just okay. it can be better, and not annoying. but just okay. Another drawback will be the non removable battery. Sometimes despite the huge battery, I dont get to charge always. but when I want to charge I couldnt find power points and that means it would be great if only i could get a spare battery. Another drawback will be sms, the sms.. if you text someone first at 345678 and then the person replies. the sms system will register [phone] and thus a different sms file. like one time I was wondering who texted me at [phone] and when I looked at my sms inbox its the number that I just texted at 345678. So instead of being on the same thread, huawei automatically made it into a different thread

Glad that huawei is making more of a stand out now. I got the huawei ascend mate 2 and no one in my group of friends knew of the phone but they all do now :) but the ascend mate 7 looks amazing
