+Ryan Baker u do realize that the galaxy s7 edge with exonys did almost the same as the iphone 6s and it runs on higher resolution also the ram management is always slower on games only otherwise it's as fast as the iphone 6s the games which something I don't really care about and yes u will have to wait for an update cause the s7 edge ram management was awesome

To answer what people are asking, you CAN use it with glasses or contacts just not for the setup and you can most likely use it outside just not when the sun is right on the sensor

So you gotta press the Power button, swipe up and then start goggling your eyes around? If it was always active then yes, but with the current implementation it's quicker just use your fingerprint.

This Iris scanner is definitely faster. But it needs to swipe up the screen. On Lumias, initial animations cause to unlock the phone in 1 -2 seconds. But swiping the screen up isn't needed. Note 7's Iris scanner is definitely not gimmick as you secure apps & folders with it and can be used for web sign-in. On Lumias, currently only OneDrive can be secured with Iris scanner.(as far as I know).

I think this is a welcome feature but either way, its faster to use Your fingerprint. iPhone's Touch ID works blazing fast and my Moto G4 Plus unlocks the phone in an instant so basically is just a security feature rather than a day to day useful feature
