hey there, rose, he doesn't show the screen replacement coz when u buy the new replacement it looks pretty much the same as the completely stripped s20 that he has just finished, ie the screen and middle frame all comes fitted together already, hope i made myself clear here. jakkadan

Going to be doing my s20u as soon as parts come in. Just was watching and I don't have a hot plate, but I figure my 3d printer bed at 100°C would work just fine to achieve the same result.

How would you replace the power button and volume buttons? I have a phone that got damaged right there in that area and now the power button doesent work, does it have its own ribbon cable like the battery and other components? Just wandering if so that could be the reason it’s not working right there.

The front camera on all Galaxy S20 models are siliconed. It has to be warmed first, then pushed up gently and carefully with a pry tool by going under the camera, pulling it up by the flex is not recommended. While warming up the silicone, it is better to cover the camera with a thick play card or business card or sth similar to them. Just warm it up around, heat should not be targeted directly on the camera. The front camera, my opinion, is the most fragile moment of fixing the device, cause any other things can be replaced when you damage them during the fixing process, but this camera is not replaceable. It is encrypted. Once it is damaged, say goodbye to selfies forever

I have a question my phone was stolen out of my car I have a new s20 plus it had a otterbox symmetry case on and i used find my phone and person that stole it out of my car threw onto the street it was ran over several times and the only visable damages are the screen being shattered but it will not turn on however. I had ins through sprint but they said its 29 for screen repair or 275 to get refurbished phone and then I still have to repay the rest of the lease amount aka 800 dollars I had paid 430.on it up front. Just curious if you think that it is possible it will work after they repair the screen they are sending shipping material and said I had to pay 29 but if unable to repair after the screen replaced then will be contacting me .

apparently, the selfie camara is set it in a different plastic n' if you don't warm it up enuff and take real care wen removin it, u damaga it for good, no more selfies, i fink it must have some kinda sensor linked to the os or mainboard that detects, if it hte original or not, apple have gone the same way, so u have to get ur i-device repaired by apple only ifone-12 n' upwards, imho, crazy bástárd'z

Perfect one to ask this question: I accidentally shoved the ejector pin into the hole in the bottom of the phone (microphone/speaker opening?) instead of the SIM card tray hole… Do you think that I could have damaged anything (waterproofing, that rectangular component on the USB PCB looking like a crystal, etc.)?
