Another amazing thing about the s pen with the s21 ultra is being able to more accurately edit pictures in lightroom using the s pen. Adds MUCH better control over selection and editing.

👍🏾 That's definitely another good perk. I find myself navigating on the screen a lot more because of the accuracy, heck even texting using the s-pen.

What app are you using to draw on? Also do you know if you can layer a picture behind to kinda trace or reference for proportions

I'm using clip studio paint, also you can do that on here you'd just have to turn down the transparency of the layer.

Wow thank you for compliment, your videos are amazing! In my honest opinion I lean more towards the S21 Ultra, I like the functionality of having a bigger s-pen to store on the side of the case. I do feel like they could have made the case better if their going this direction. The only thing I say the note edges this one out on is style and no added bulk just for the s-pen.

I wanna upgrade my note 10 plus this year, note sure if I should try the note 20 ultra again or give the 21 Ultra a chance, I hope samsung brings the s pen to the fold or z flip soon, that'll be a game changer

@@Carritube The curved edges have been reduced significantly. They're still there but not as bad as before. Definitely agree when the z line adds a pen it'll be expensive but totally worth it to me 😁.

Definitely great phone for drawing. Sometimes you find yourself with nothing but your phone and being able draw in the spare time always a good thing 👍🏾.

No problem at all 👍🏾. Definitely would go with the tablet if it came down to the phone or s7 tablet. Samsung really knocked it out the park with their tablet.

Spigen makes a case very similar to the Samsung case but much better quality. You'd have to purchase the SPEN separately tho.

Yes you can. Supposedly they did this because the note series with disappear. So the fold and s ultra series will be their flagships with spen support.

Keep in mind the spen doesn't come with the s21 ultra and you have buy it separately or have a spare spen laying around for previous Samsung device.

Clip Studio Paint is main one I use and Ibis Paint for the warm up sketches. 👍🏾Both great programs but I'm used to Clip Studio Paint for my workflow from also using the desktop version.

Clip Studio Paint for Android. Yes you can edit photos but it's not as good as Photoshop and for Android it requires a monthly subscription.

Their are other s pens out there and Samsung is bringing out a Bluetooth s pen and if you have a tab s6-7 you get a bigger one to I have two with erasers o the other end

Actually I don't use a screen protector. The pen at least to me works much better on the screen without one.

@@art5695 I recommend the folio case or a matte screen protector but if you do use a matte screen protector it can wear down the nib quicker.

My personal top 3 is Clip Studio Paint, Ibis, and Infinite Painter. I'm not to sure if it's for beginners but few good ones are Sam does art, Ethan Becker if you can get past the satire, and Brad Colbow has some stuff as well. I hope that helps 👍🏾.

Imagine... so many undo clicks! With real pens we do not have that awesome feature. I wonder if when using real paper and pen we will instinctively look to press the undo button.

The undo button still exists, it is the equivalent of the blue pencil. Before transitioning from a straight traditional artist I used a blue pencil or red to work the sketch until I was ready to clean up. I tend to draw a lot in a sketch book because sometimes I miss the rough texture of paper and pencil.

@@C.Wilson I was watching your video because I am trying to decide if I should buy a Samsung pen from Note 2 or 3 or instead buy a pen from S21 Ultra. And also because I wanted to see which app can be better for me. Is the pen on screen too "unfix"? Is it hard in screen to have some kind of nicerecistend to the line we want to draw?

@@3DShe the curved edges make the canvas a little narrow. Especially with the smaller pen. If money is not a problem the s pen pro because of it's size is about the size of a standard pencil. The glass screen on the 21 ultra has little resistance making the screen slick a matte screen protector can also alleviate that depending on the device you're going to use.

I compared it to the Tab s7 + spen. I mention Apple Pencil because some artist feel as if it's a gold standard. 👍🏾
