I didn't want to buy an iphone 13 pro max, in my country the samsung s22 ultra is even more expensive, I got it a month ago and I don't regret it, all my friends who have iphone 13 pro, are delighted with my cell phone, with its screen , the spen, the quality of the cameras, the zoom, everything! The best thing is to take the photos or videos from the samsung camera application or using expert raw and then upload them to social networks, there they will have a very good quality.

It's actually up to Social media companies to improve their apps to the Galaxy phone. Because Samsung already opened the cameraX API for the to access every feature the Galaxy S22 U has, so it's up to those social media apps to implement them properly.

It's called an API and Samsung has already open the "CameraX" API for every app. The problem is developers of apps like Instagram feel lazy to go back and rewrite their code and update their app for the Galaxy phone so they continue to stick with the old API.

Most of the social media got lazy for one thing because there's too many Android phones out in this world so they can't programme it to all Android phones that way take so long and they would not be able to keep up with all the different phones all the time so they make one API for Android and it will only be one programme for it that is why some app developers on social media don't use all the features what Samsung have offer is social media a just got lazy all they're just like doing his little trick there and then and adding security features into the software to they don't hardly touch the API of the camera that is why some social media will not work properly with any Android that is my option and I think that is what they but I know it's not always 100% accurate what I'm saying I could be wrong

Tiktok still looks so awful in comparison to the native camera app. Just goes to show how badly these social media developers have optimised for android even though the cameras are so freaking good.

So the constraint is not from Samsung, but the limitation is due to Instagram app's limitation indeed, right?

@@m25toledo yup, it's always been like this. Social media apps optimise mostly for iphones because it's easier for them. For Android, the app actually screen records over the camera layout rather than using data from the lenses directly. Which is why it looks like dogshit on Android phones even though the hardware is extremely capable. Atleast Samsung is basically putting efforts to force these developers to do their job right. But there's still a lot of room for improvement.

The photo really has been improved compared to s21, but the video quality is still laggy and not using stabilization, pixel 6 has more optimization for social media app

The Galaxy in shooting videos in dark places reduces the frequencies in order to make the image clearer, although it has a few frequencies, but you can make the frequencies as well, but the video will not be clear

@@Ayde7000 tbh i would rather have stable framerate when shooting videos in low light places, especially front facing cameras, in app camera can maintain stable frame rate and still has good quality, so i expect all social media camera can do that as well, so when i heard S22 optimize for social media, i expect something like Iphone level optimization, i mean Pixel 6 can do it, so why not S22.

Use samsung's camera app and upload to sociameds, DO NOT USE sociameds built in cam! the compression is crazy. Be sure to shoot on `1920x1080 OR 9:16 30fps max. Do not upload in 4k. Also make sure internet speed is fast.

You never tried any filters on TikTok. The S22 Ultra doesn't work with a LOT of the popular filters on the social media app. It also doesn't have any light indicators for notification alerts when you're screen is off (the blinking light at the top of the screen) and mine doesn't vibrate when I pick it up to indicate that I have a message waiting for me to check even though I have that turned on. I had an S10+ before this and I loved it. The S22 Ultra is very different and I'm, honestly, not overly impressed.

i have the phone in my hand, and personnaly I'm disappointed with the video on S22 ultra. I have the feeling of a very small gap between sound and image as if there was a latency. When you also zoom in during the video shooting it is not done automatically

I have a phone with SnapDragon 870. Using front cam on instagram filter sucks. Lag and very long shutter speeds. I tried iphone and it was buttery smooth. I wonder why android is like that... and I wonder if S22 is also like that.

The big problem on social media is the stabilisation. I think on the social camera you can't set the "ultra stabilization" so the video isn't great and it's pretty annoying to watch. But the quality of the social camera isn't very bad... i think it's good enough without stabilization.

Its okayish, not great, not bad. Depending on the usage, refresh rate, brightness and processing being used, screen on time could be anyhere from 5 hours to 10 hours. Keep dark mode enabled as much as possible.
