@@royakash96 the fingerprint works as normal. I would just suggest that you re-register your fingerprint after you install the screen protector. Also register the same fingerprint 2-3 times so that it unlocks even faster, and also turn on "increase touch sensitivity" in the settings so the phone feels even more responsive and smooth with the screen protector on

The S22 Ultra (Exynos) was so bad that I had no choice but to upgrade to another phone. Since the S23 series came with Snapdragon worldwide I gave Samsung one more chance. And it was a really great upgrade. Samsung will have a really hard time selling me another Exynos-based phone ever again.

Yea s22 ultra was a bad device overheats all the time on me, even the apps I use it closes on me all the time my spen didn't work on that phone most of the time so I upgraded to s23 ultra no issues at all I love the s23 ultra best device so far exynos chip blows I would never upgrade to the s24 ultra

Have to agree the S23 Ultra is an unreal phone and it definitely feels like a bigger jump year over year than what we usually see. What a lot of people don't mention is the much better speakers vs the S22 Ultra. Got to the point where I wouldn't even listen to music at all on last year's phone if I didn't have my ear buds with me, the sound was atrocious. Another huge improvement that isn't mentioned much is the new Qualcomm X70 modem with built-in AI. it helps get much better reception and helps extend battery life at the same time with faster 5G speeds. Bumping up to the faster 5X RAM and 4.0 UFS storage makes a huge different when using multiple applications and moving around your phone quickly not to mention gaming. This is the first phone I'm considering keeping for 2 years but we'll see if the S24 Ultra is a big enough improvement to upgrade. I have my doubts

Just upgraded from the S22 to the S23 and some people say the differences aren't big enough, but you are right that the battery and the processing power feel like a huge jump from the S22. My S22 was constantly needing charged and had lots of stutter/slowdown that I don't seem to have with the S23.

well, a compact but very detailed review of one of the best phones of 2023. for me the whole s23 lineup deserves an award. not only the flawless hardware but also the beauty of every single device. on top, Samsung was able to shrink the camera problem via update to a bare minimum. same with the lagging animations. even the fingerprint reader works perfectly since the August patch is installed. soft and hardware like i couldn't be happier atm with my s23. my hopes for the s24 lineup: a Snapdragon setup for all 3 devices, worldwide!! Samsung can put the Exynos SoC's in the Fan Editions and A Class but pls, not in the flagship lineup! FE's and A Class devices where most ppl don't care about the SoC should be ok with Exynos. next year, for the base and plus model i don't want a overlooked snap. the heat which my s23 sometimes unfolds is very annoying. i don't want that in my s24. for the s24 Ultra a overlooked chip is ok for me bec of much better cooling. besides that i have no wishes for next year.

I have the same opinion about S23 Ultra as you. Recently, I recorded a concert in low light enviroment and it was amazing. Samsung did a great job about it. Pictures also look astonishing. Many people told me that pictures look fantastic and ask me what phone I use. I say S23 Ultra off course. Great phone.

It's why I have absolutely no intention of waiting for the S24 range. If they're going to be Exynos, the best available Samsung will still be the S23 Ultra. Same reason I got the S20 FE 5G in 2021. The S21 family were on Exynos, therefore the S20 FE with its year-old Snapdragon was the best available Samsung candybar (I think the foldables escaped Exynos).

45 watt charging is the only deal breaker but it sure is at this hefty asking price., especially considering the competition. Once you go above 100 watt there is no going back to 45 or below. Fast charge is a blessing from my exp.

Just upgraded from a note 8. Man what a difference. Worth it 100%. Especially now that i get a snapdragon chip. Its just so much better. My main issue was battery life. I had to keep my note 8 in permanant power saving mode and still had to charge it about 3 or 4 times a day of general use. I had to keep a charger with me where ever i went. As soon as it hit 20% battery left it just instantly died. Right now, on my s23 ultra, it is 10pm. I took it off charge last at 7am. It is at 70% battery. Just wow.

I've used my S23 for almost a month now, and I've absolutely loved it. It's the same amount of insane as the Ultra, just a bit toned down. I have noticed it does get a bit hotter, though, but that might just be my country's climate really. I have no complaints with my S23!

Almost 3 weeks with my s23 ultra. The battery is really superb. But there are things that my note10+ is better. I feel like the animation in the note10+ is faster and when typing in the keyboard, even if I think I press the right letter it registers another letter. I assume its because of my tempered glass. Because in my note10+ it only has the pre-installed screen protector.

126 hour endurance is good, but slow charging 45 watt, in 2023. Never mind ULTRA. For the price u pay u should get 16gb ram like Chinese brands. Samsung Galaxy also known for its bloated software, bugs and overheating.

enable developer options then take the animation scales down to 0.5 an becomes much faster . That goes for all android phones and stream boxes and galaxy watches . The downside to the s23 ultra is that Samsung took the screen size down to 6.8 . The s20 ultra stayed at 6.9 . The specs are nearly the same s20 ultra and s23 ultra . I will keep the larger screen .

The 23 ultra is the bomb. Loved it. But finally, I decided to try a fold. I do miss one or 2 things from the ultra. But the fold 5 is so handy Un folded I can not believe how thin it is. I still think the resolution is a bit better on the 23 ultra. especially with KZbin videos.

Had a fold 4. These samsung folds are just bad. The front screen is unusable and looks like sht. 8nner screen is fine, but you can't use it all the time. I went to s23u, it's like a Bentley.

I agree best phone yet. I moved to Samsung from BlackBerry Z10 because of the ability to load Blackberry Hub / Inbox on the phone and especially because of the curve. Whatever Samsung does, do not and I repeat do not get rid of the curve. I remember doing messages on the curve...that was fantastic....I wish we could get that message along the curve again....my 2 cents

Here in the UK, my S23 Ultra didn't receive it's update until near the end of August. Apparently it was stopped earlier, so there must have been an issue. My phone battery performance has not changed. Sometimes if there are lots of apps on the phone that need optimisation, the process will consume more power after firmware update! Also some apps will cause issues which is why I only use official apps and mainly from the official stores.

I'm surprised your phone didn't shatter in that scenario. In my case, my phone dropped 2ft out of my camo pants side pocket and completely shattered. The glass is too fragile. I paid $300 for a screen replacement. I suggest ppl buy a tempered screen protector.
