In this tutorial, we'll guide you through the seamless process of utilizing the real-time text (RTT) functionality, also known as 'Text Call.'
Text Call, or RTT, is a revolutionary feature designed to facilitate communication for users with hearing or speech disabilities. During a phone call, you can now send and receive text messages in real-time, enhancing the overall conversation experience.
How To Use 'Text Call' AI Feature On Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+ or S24 Ultra
1. Open the Phone app. Select Keypad and tap on the three dots in the top right corner and from the pop up select Settings.
2. Tap on Text Call. You can now turn the feature on or off using the toggle. While enable , you can choose to customize the Language and Voice and Speech Rate.
3. Then, when a phone call comes through, tap on Call Assist. Tap on Text Call. Now you can type in your messages or use Quick Responses during the call.
4. As the person speaks, it will appear on your device screen. Type in your response and one sent it will be heard on the other end. When you're ready to end the call tap on the end call icon at the top of your screen.

i like it, in particular the texting or live caption in calling but i would to anwer instead of tiping and reading the called voice like Live caption of google. I know all android 10 have it in hearing accessibility but it is more google feature and not samsung.

This feature could be so good. Especially for handling spam calls when you aren't sure if it's spam. But I have two issues with this: 1st it's not a big one, but THIS IS NOT AI. They call it that but this is just plain voice recognition and text to voice. This technology has nothing to do with artificial intelligence. My second issue is the real one. You can't edit the script it uses when it picks up the call. It always says the same stupid thing as follows "I'm using a voice assistant to convert your voice to text and respond to you. If you want to continue, please stay on the call." I really wish I could change that to just say "hello how can I help you?" Or "hello who is calling and who are you trying to reach?"

No , it can be used in multiple languages. Other than US English it supports English (india) , English (United Kingdom) , French , German , Italian , Korean , Portuguese (Brazil) , and Spanish.

@@Its_a_Mr_Eh I do the same. The thing about spam calls is they have your name and number in their system. The text call feature makes them believe they're getting a robot call so majority of times they'll mark it as non-existent caller and remove you from their call list.

@@hobbitpsi the calls we get in Canada are totally autodialed random BS. They don't have your name and definitely aren't doing any call record management. These are just shitty Indian auto dialer scam centers running as many outbound calls as they can with no strategy whatsoever.
