I'm impressed that you are running FreeCAD on your phone. Also this is exactly the kind of thing I've been wanting to make for a while now, so I'll have to find me one of those tiny keyboards

Not gonna lie, when you started hand soldering those tiny switches I thought "bro, aren't you sponsored by PCBWay? Could you not have had a PCB made?" Still, I admire the dedication

I will do in future projects pcb's, but when I'm in a hurry, soldering wires is a good solution

thanks, i found the keyboard on aliexpress, but they are quite common anywhere

@@diyotaku I understand, it just made me chuckle that you were doing really tiny soldering while being sponsored by a PCB maker.

I love watching you create your projects on or phone or tablet I was just wondering how are you running freecad on your device?
@diyotaku12 күн бұрын
thanks, I'm glad you like it, i use an emulator (horizon emu from github) based on wine - the linux framework for running windows applications. Since android is linux basically it's easy to run it

Love the video and the creativity but please lower the length of the video. I feel theres no need to have all of the making of the case sped up. Otherwise, look forward to seeing more!

Thanks for the feedback, I will try other ways in future videos

Great video as always, just a question have you always used Freecad or have you other cad like Fusion 360? Like why did you settle with freecad? Thanks.
@diyotaku12 күн бұрын
I use freecad basically because it's free and good enough for my project needs. At work I have Autocad on my company laptop but that is for work only.

you can add wireless charging to keyboard as s24 can charge it .
@diyotaku11 күн бұрын
I was thinking exactly about that, but the small battery of the keyboard lasts so long that it doesn't bother me to charge it one time every two months

can you add à joystick like a 3ds joystick to your case ?
@diyotaku13 күн бұрын
it is possible but not needed because the touchscreen of the phone can act as a joystick

It's only my opinion but to play games it's more comfortable
