never had the brightness issue on my s24 ultra glad to see they fixed it for other users.. i live in kuwait temp is regularly above 60c in the summer and under direct sunlight about 10 minutes of usage no dimming that i can see.. now over 10 minutes im sure it will dim but by that time id be already dead from a heat stroke

I don't know if I can accept 44degrees for a bit more brightness though... Summer time would be 40+ almost all the time, if it was S22U it'd be unusable over 41degrees :)

@eduard6450 KZbin is a light task and being sunny doesn't mean being hot hot. Just imagine using maps on the dash if youtube is 44C... Just imagine how the battery situation would would like an year later...

@eduard6450 I'm saying that seemingly s23u does things better in terms of temperature\brighthness balance. And that is not acceptable knowing that s24u peak brightness is a lot higher supposedly. So how come s24u can't get even a bit brigther at the same temp as s23u?

@@user-ij8no5zw6u- again, I do not care about a 2°C difference. I want to be able to see the screen when it's hot outside, and the s23 ultra in this video doesn't allow for that. And also, this temperature measurement in just one spot of the phone is not exactly the best way to do it

Aight lemme get this down- the December Patch fixed the S24 ULTRA ABL and now it sustains HDR brightness more than S23 ULTA- my only question is does the S23 ULTRA still has more color pop than S24 ULTRA while watching SDR content or HDR content(at times when scenes don't require brightness for more color volume) or the updates on S24 ultra have come nearly closer to make differences bar to none for the naked eye??
