To summarize, Samsung is THE Benchmark to which smartphones measure against. Any phone that wants to be something anyway. It is that simple. The S25 Ultra is going to be a monster.
@SamsungGalaxyUnlockedАй бұрын
Exactly, i think most people don't realize but Samsung push the industry forward way more than Apple does. Even look this year at their line up, everything (except for a button) is the inspiration for most of the iPhone 16's features

Yes, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is a beautifully designed phone with curved/rounded corners since Galaxy S21 Ultra. Let's wait and see until the finalized design before showcase in January, February or March 2025. I own Galaxy S24 Plus, it's awesome.

Don't love the look of the curved as much as I do the sharper look of the S24, probably where they saved some of the weight on the new one
@SamsungGalaxyUnlockedАй бұрын
I think it'll boil down to a taste thing. On the whole, I'm not happy with Samsungs trend of copying Apple stuff, like the Airpods situation. Samsung have a strong, defined design language that they should respect.

I dont like the camera design, have had the same since S22 ultra. Bigger battery needed and faster charging. Get with the times on that.
@SamsungGalaxyUnlockedАй бұрын
I love the camera design! It's form-follows-function which i love. And very simplistic and minimalist. It's the other products that are taking too many notes from Apple’s design which I have a problem with.

There's usually a Chinese brand that beats Samsung to being the first to release with the newest Snapdragon, which this year will likely be Xiaomi. However, Xiaomi is known to release locally in China first before doing global releases, which might mean that by the time they are ready to release their global version, Samsung may then very well be the first to come out with the newest Snapdragon globally. I think the new frontier is Galaxy AI, which by all indications is where the innovation is being focused. To achieve global dominance, Apple has shown us that they are not wasting their time innovating on hardware (the new camera button is premature and gimmicky at best, with features for it in software only coming out as late as next year), but instead making the new buzz phrase 'Apple Intelligence', with Samsung penning theirs as 'Galaxy AI' - both signaling the direction they're innovating in. There is a catch to this for the consumer though - soon, we will be paying more for SAAS than the actual hardware devices themselves, and the apex tech predators will be those tech enthusiasts with subscriptions to all the services. Yeah, my best wishes to all of you whose subscription fees per month work out more than your rates, electric, water and levies bills combined! By the way, all the best with your channel. Good to see an SA tech tuber here in China. You've got my subscription!

Honestly, I really love Xiaomi's devices. They're rocksolid but that is the problem like you mentioned. It takes way too long to get a flagship, and even then, I think Samsung's ecosystem is stronger.

You hype up s25 but it looks much like s24 ultra. If you show that to someone else, they would mistake it for s24 ultra. And utilitarian design is wow?
@SamsungGalaxyUnlockedАй бұрын
I do like Utilitarian design a lot. Especially with tools or tech that serve me functionally. My favourite piece of tech is my kindle paperwhite, which is a good example of utilitarian design. I don't buy a phone to show off.

if it does have those ugly camera rings I think its going to be one of samsungs worst selling phones ever. if it keeps the traditional ones or even goes back to the squircle camera design of the original S3-S9 which ive seen renders floating around the it will probably be one of their best selling phones with the absolutly insane generational leap of the SD8 gen4 over the gen3 with a 47% increase in cpu performance
@falcon2898Ай бұрын
It's not gonna have them ice universe showed us a render on what's is actually gonna look like and when compared to this it has slimer bezels and frame for a more cleaner look. Instead of the camera rings you see here you will see the s24u style l

what about the battery size still 5000 mAh, 1x lens not upgraded, 3x not upgraded? Also heating management? Also known pink and green lines on screen that come with Samsung after 3-4 years. My S20+ got one recently from just updating software. I am dissapointed that Samsung has these issues and also bcs they stopped innovating and followed Apple's way of marketing. !! Oneplus will come with 6000 mAh battery and will be a flagship killer. Huawei and Honor innovate with folding phones and much more. Vivo X100 Ultra has an amazing camera system with amazing telephoto. Wtf need ultrawide upgrade?? 1x and 3-5x matters.. . WTF happened to Samsung and Apple?
@SamsungGalaxyUnlockedАй бұрын
Its more about a steady experience. And also over time, incremental upgrades. I'm less worried about hardware specs, and more worried about how they improve and implement the software, especially the Galaxy AI stuff
