I Have The S4 I just upgraded to Kitkat 4.4.2 .I have not noticed any improvement in functionality with the upgrade .in fact now the wake up feature Hi Galaxy no longer works and no one has a clue why ? .I will not upgrade to the S5 No more than it does over the S4 does not justify the $750 price tag trade in on my S4 is only $140 LOL

To be honest the realy big differences is that it can take water, the better camera and the touch id and the build ofcourse. And so you have the small things like the specs that are just a little bit better wich doesnt really matter because on a sgs4 and on a sgs5 you wont notice any difference. It will only launch an app 1 second faster. So if you have an sgs4 GT 19500-506 (like me) It wouldnt be worth buying the sgs5 ( my opinion though) Biggest changes: camera,water,build and touch id. Small things: hearth rate sensor, some better specs and a new version of touchwiz and some new updated apps. So if you buy the sgs5 the noticable differences will only be the camer (maybe) and the build and that it has a handy touch id. :D

Great video comparison, S5 is definitely an awesome device but in my opinion not really a Leap forward more of a baby steps. ..Samsung is taking a page out of apples iPhone. .In being very conservative. In my opinion is not really worth the upgrade. They should of just called it the Samsung galaxy note 3 mini. I have a note 3 and I would just wait for the note4

Thanks man! Awesome and very detail video! I also own S4 and when I saw S5 I was kind of dissapointed... I love my S4 and S5 really has some amazing upgrades but for S4 user there is no point to move on S5 cos both phones are too similar. Better grab Note3,wait for Note 4 or S6 instead :)

i have the s4 just got it on March 18th , as soon as i turned on the wifi it updated the Android os to 4.4.2KitKat ... its awesome , not much difference between the s4 and s5 . .. the tilt and swipe motion sensors are awesome .. wanted the Note 3 but its too big for every day use ... wont fit in pockets of jeans or pants ,

The LG G2 has a 5.2 inch screen but it's still smaller than the S5 and better looking. Samsung fucked up the S5, they just put a newer cpu and made everything else shitier in one way or another.

Hey SuperSafTV I would like to point a mistake in the sd card for the galaxy s5 coz it is up to 128 Gb not 64 . And also the camera on the s5 shoots only 1080p videos not 4k . Anyways, your videos are really nice

I have the S3 and want to upgrade to the S5. My concern is the size and weight of it. I have really small hands and I had carpal tunnel on my right wrist from a car accident. So having a heavy & bigger phone can bring that back on. Those are my only concerns. If it doesn't work out I will get the S4. My S3 is giving me a headache!

Good comparison...just saved me from getting S5. I am currently using S4 ( 4.4.2) and to be honest, i cant really see any huge difference to really push me to a upgrade..like the Ultra battery saving mode..and i also believe it has Kid's mode..all in all..not worth it

Very nice improvements and excellent comparison of S5 with S4. The main negatives are a slightly larger and 15 grams heavier S5. The other negative is that the S5 is missing a 64 GB Internal Storage - Why cut back internal storage to 32 GB when the S4 already allows up to 64 GB of internal storage? Is the 128 GB expandable storage of the S5 provided as an external plug in flash drive? The 128 GB expandable storage sounds great for storing lots of picture data; but why not offer a 128 GB internal storage instead of needing to add plug in drives (just charge a bit more in pricing for the valuable extra storage GB). Maybe the S6 model will get a bit smarter and offer a max 128 GB internal storage and also offer the optional 128 GB expandable storage. Otherwise, the S5 sounds very amazing.

I mean I have the S4 and have a PSP emulator on it, which can also play PSone games, while iPhone users complain about not getting Flappy Bird from the AppStore, cause that's their only source of content. I don't even need to jailbreak it to install a full adblock (which also blocks ads in games, apps, browsers and other stuff) Not so sure about the S5 though, no doubt a sick phone but I think there is not enough difference to the S4 for me to consider getting it. I mean I have a quad 1.7ghz and a quad 1.2ghz.. the difference to one quad 2.4ghz is not huge.

MrTJMishRat I use my iPhone for text messages and phone calls. I use my PC for everything else, why would i want to play games on my phone when i can play them on my PC? I like the OS of the iPhone, and it handles texts and phone calls perfectly. Then when i want to play games, i get on my PC and play BF4 in 1080p at 60fps.

I expect some metal finishing... I own the galaxy s3 now. Frankly, its declining. Performance, battery life and the charging usb port is giving me a hell of a problem. Went for a vacation and my phone wont charge. Imagine how frustrated you are when you rely on your phone for EVERYTHING. Just want to know, is it worth it to switch to s5 or I'll just wait for Note 4? Would've changed to iphone 5s, but unfortunately iphone have much smaller screen compared to other devices on the market. Was looking at Z1 but realize its quite bulky and the screen doesnt fit much to the frame. Avoided S4 because how ugly it looks when you dropped it and it chipped. Reveals away the cheap plastic from the metal paint from it. Note 3 looks promising but Note 4 is coming soon.

S4 and S5 have minor differences. I would stick to my LG G2 for right now as it has a battery of 3000mAh and is updated to Android Kitkat now. It's camera of 13mp with OIS takes awesome pictures and has 5.2" screen On the whole performs well.Not at all worth to switch to Samsung S5

If you are at the end of you contract or your buying your first SMART phone, it is definitely worth it. As far as an upgrade is concerned, it depends on the individual. For example: If your into fitness the heart rate monitor in conjunction with SHealth might be very interesting not to mention all the other bonuses.

First of all nice video. Now in the point, it looks very nice phone but I think that if you are already on S4 you don't need to upgrade on S5, the differences is very small. It looks nice upgrade for the guys that are still on S2 or S3 or maybe on iphone 4 and 4s. That's what I think, personaly I m very satisfied from my S4 (GT-19505) and I will continue with it.

I just got the S5 because my S4 was crap. I was a heavy user and I was charging my battery 2 sometimes 3x a day. The phone started to get to the point where it stopped turning on so I had to make a decision and went to the 5. I hope it is better. So far so good but.
