Love how you keep your unboxing videos simple tim! Not too crazy on the editing and you highlight the phone and how your wooden table is free from other objects (although, that youtube notebook is so nice). The angle of how you shoot your videos also make me feel as if I'm the one unboxing the phone (a fantasy I also have when watching your videos) while you talk me through it. I know you'll make some changes with how you do unboxing videos as you try to improve them, but I hope you know that one of your subscribers appreciate how you keep it simple and sweet!

I have the s8 plus for around a month now and I love it. Performance is buttery smooth and display is divine. Plus the battery life is pretty great

Guys, about the red tint, its like that with ALL phones, sometimes you get a display thats tinted in one way or the other, thats why there is a color balance setting. Xeetechcare's channel had the same with an s8 and s8+, after color balance tweaking in the main settings, they are identical again.

red tint is more of setting thing, it can be fixed by display optimization...go into the setting-display-optimization-and change the color...if it has that problem

Your S8+ have "red tint" issue, and as told it can only be toggled in adaptive display mode(if someone is to say not an issue).

rob aggarwal lel there are two variants for the S8 and S8 plus , similar to what samsung has done the past years . Basically​ , the US gets the Snapdragon variant which in this case is the SD835 which also has an Adreno GPU whereas the International S8 uses a homemade Exynos 8895 which is overall better ( better cpu , better battery life and equal GPU performance depending on benchmarks ) but if you're getting the exynos S8 you're damn lucky because People in the US hate the Snapdragon variant but they just can't get an international model , only through importing...

I usually get the latest Note or Galaxy S phone, but I'm kind of tired of the sluggishness and poor battery life after the first 8 months to a year+. Standby time is terrible even when on airplane mode now for my S7 Edge. I think I'm going to stick with the Pixel (current phone) line. Not the flashiest design, but the performance is key for me nowadays. Most flagship phones take really good pictures, have quality screens, and I use most of them the same way. It just comes down to design, battery life, and performance for me. Does it have to be the best in all of those areas? No. But it needs to be good in all of those areas and that will make it overall an excellent phone for me.

Real DNA does your S8+ have the same red tinted screen issue as his does? the reg S8 looked fine the screen was white but the S8+'s screen looked reddish.

bamajc777 Slightly, it's really only noticeable in the top corner if the background is like completely white/gray. I've definitely seen worse online so results may vary.

Real DNA yeah you're probably right because I was playing with both phones the other day in the Verizon store and nothing really odd stuck out at me so it must be just showing more watching the phone on a video rather than holding it. they both felt good in the hand tho an surprisingly easier to hold an smaller than what I thought they'd be.

bamajc777 The size on the Plus model is way better than I thought. It's about the same height of a Nexus 6P but more comfortable to hold because it's more narrow. I was worried, but as soon as I took it out of the box it fit very well in the hand. It's a surprising comfortable phone to hold.
