Remember getting this from my mum and dad Christmas 2013? Loved it I remember just kept finding random features on my own and wondering why google now and s voice came in the same device haha. Still got it now. Battery still lasts fine as I switched to an iPad in the end of 2014 so the battery is basically new. Also how it had stereo recording on videos just made me think it was the best invention ever haha

I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it

do you still have it in your hands? and does it work but yeah it is really a shame my tablets is from 8-9 years old and they still work with custom roms with ideal performance actually i can watch 1080p videos fine in them they are samsung galaxy tab e 9.6 SM-T560 which i bought in early 2016 due to in late 2015 my samsung galaxt tab 3 10.1 motherboard fried while charging and i have a general mobile etab5 from 2014 and still works also just like tab e 9.6 but yeah with custom roms they dont feel that obsolete except the screen bezels especially on gm its so big! but anyway it has 10.1 inch screen

Lol im watching this on my Samsung galaxy tab 3, i highly recommend this though. Alot of people ask me if this is a phone, i use as a phone though, make calls and text and i also can get some good quality photos out of this. When ever my sister had got this tablet,it was running 4.1.2 jellybean out of the box,and from experience it was very laggy,but after the recent 4.4.2 KitKat update and after downloading the google now launcher,it has become a lot smoother, not as smooth as a nexus keep that in mind,but smooth enough to really enjoy the tablet itself.

I've been using this tab for several months now and if anyone's interested, here's my comment on my tab 3. It's slow even with the power saving mode off. Quite laggy. Soft resets by itself when it's in my bag. I think that's because of the buttons on the right side accidentally getting pressed but then why is a tab designed to soft reset so easily like that? Idk. The annoying part about the soft reset is that you have to adjust the time and date settings manually BECAUSE the tab does NOT have an automatic update of time setting! It freezes a lot too. Even light games/Apps like Cut the Rope 2 freezes on this tab after a certain period of time(but still playable). Oh, and Google Chrome freezes too(and quite frequent at that)... so I use the stock browser. Even touchwiz crahes when you try to customize the app manager. XD Also, the keyboard doesnt come with a dictionary for my language so that's another minus for me. But I dont want to use other keyboard apps like swiftkey because when I tried, I found out that they're quite laggy in this device. (And I'd lose the clipboard shortcut) What I like about this tab? The clipboard, the layout, the 'affordability', the display. I would probably be content with this tab only if it didnt lag so much. What did I do to make it perform a wee bit faster? I disabled S-voice and other useless bloatware. I install as few apps as possible. I use as few widgets as possible. I examine the effect every installed app has on my device. I used to have Cleanmaster until I realized it was slowing down my device. I also adjusted some of the animation settings in the developer options. Do you guys have any other tips that doesn't involve rooting the phone? I would be happy to know! :)

I have one and is very good! It has crashed but rarely. Battery is not the best aspect but is durable. Camera is good but not the best. Everything else, I'm in love with it! PS: is really light and small, I can even put it in my pocket!

Adam Mennen you are wrong. It performs nicely for all my needs (games, email, internet, media and social apps). What do you use it if you think it doesn't perform well? I can just think that you have some personal feelings about Samsung or this tablet specifically. Specially when you said that about the screen, that's just you hating :)

TVegaC You're kidding right... I have nothing against Samsung, but this is truly a terrible quality tablet. I get that it is a budget tablet, but the screen resolution is a 1024x600...that's the lowest screen resolution of any tablet makers. I returned this tablet and kept my iPad 2. This was the slowest OS/tablet I have ever used. I'm not sure the TouchWiz interface made it any better either. I don't understand how you game or do anything productive on this tablet unless you're a child or this is your first tablet. I'm giving everyone an honest review, compare this tablet to the similar priced Nook HD or Kindle Fire HD and you'll find that they all have better battery life and screen resolution. In addition to this, the ram is a mere 1GB and the processor is a dual core making it quite slow and terrible at multi tasking. I tried to use this for KZbin and other things but could not stop noticing how terrible and pixelated the screen looked. It honestly looks and feels like a child's tablet, it's made of plastic, terrible screen resolution, and slow. I am now thinking of paying the difference for either the Nexus 7 or iPad Air. Either way, for now my need for a tablet has been curbed through my recent MacBook Air purchase.

Ok everyone who has a samsung device and is experiencing lag, all you have to do is go to the google play store and install the google now launcher. The reason you guys are having lag is cuz samsungs lancher ( touch wiz) is very power hungry while googles launcher is not. Hope i helped :) and btw the google now launcher is directly from google.

This tablet was awesome while it lasted for me. The Battery isn’t that good anymore and the charging port doesn’t work sometimes. But overall it’s an awesome tablet. Mine was from My Grandpa for Christmas and I had wanted it for a long time. Mine also came with a case in the box.

And not mention the tab has a piss poor resolution vs the nexus 7 HD screen. you can record at at full HD its design feels better than the tab because I own a note 2 and I HATE! glossy plastic. And one more reason the nexus 7 is better it gets updates ahead of ANY android phone/tablet lol like bro you enjoying 4.3? I been rocking 4.4.2 out the box since December! Is Sammy gonna upgrade that tab? Hahaha xD the only nice thing you can say the tab is it has an SD slot which is almost useless to me since 1. I got the 32gb model and 2. If I really need more memory I can just hook up an otg cable with an flash drive so yeah...

Fabian Taveras The SD card slot is kinda useless anyway because you can't save apps onto it without using a third party software. Touchwiz seems like a downgrade from current android to me because of all the useless Samsung crap that comes preinstalled.
