In this video I share with you all what my experience has been like using the Samsung galaxy tab A7 for 7 months so far.
This is the long term review of this budget Samsung tablet and how it has been holding up.
This samsung tablet has been a nice little machine and a good entertainment tablet as it is supposed to be. It shares many of the same characteristics as the midrange samsung tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, despite of the few other tablet features that set them appart.

My first comment on your channel was when I stumbled upon ur video while looking for A7 reviews before buying now I'm commenting using one! Needless to say one can't get very creative and productive with this tab but you can to some extent as it's basically for media consumption and other average stuff. I like the tab because really well built and the speakers don't suck at all. Battery is more than fine, display quality is fine. Ram capacity is shit. Overall it's a good tab if you don't expect much out of it. :)

You can pair it with a Huion graphics tablet for pressure-sensitive input, in case you want to do artwork on it. Huion can be used on android devices and that can turn this (or even your Android phone) into a cheap ipad alternative for artists, that can give you those variable lines and line-widths. Of course, you're not working directly on the screen that way, but it's great for portable digital art on the cheap, considering the Huions are all cheaper than the Apple Pencils by themselves.

@TwinSenpai I would highly recommend the IPad 9th Gen for playing Games. Samsung's tablets don't offer the Performance or Screen Size that the IPad has

@@aayushgupta4136 I actually haven't tested one, but it has the same Chipset as in the IPhone 11. So performance should be superior to anything in the $200-$300 price range.

This was going to be an upgrade for my sons tablet but now I know it doesnt allow you to move your apps onto the mico sd card I wont be getting it. That is a very important feature you mentioned which other reviews of this tablet have failed to mention.

Watching this review on my Tab A7. I think this is a very good tablet for the price. It does not feel cheap at all! Love the camera placement on the front of the tablet since I am on zoom at least twice a week.

I have a Samsung A7 It took some getting used to since I have samsung E also. I'm on the thing practically all day, with email, games, utube and reading books. Samsung makes an excellent as you call it budget tablet. It's a real workhorse I love it.

Ivan, question for you sir. Does the A7 support daily board? A lot of people don't like it but I do. Some tablets don't support it like the 2019 A 8.0 tab, so I wanted to see if the a7 supports it or not.

Once I went into the developer options and force apps over to the SD card at work a lot better but hopefully they’ll tweak the system down the road to where you won’t have to do that

We have only used ipads for our kids, but due to charging issues, our son needs a new one. I'm so thankful for this review. It gives me confidence to move away from the high cost ipad to a more reasonably priced Galaxy tab.

Another great video with good info....I have a Tab S3 and only use it to edit photos (with Snapseed app) would this A7 be an upgrade from the Tab S3 ? I know it's not the Tab S7 but if this A7 outperforms the Tab S3 I might just get it as I only do the editing. I'm thinking that the new processor on the Tab A7 has more cores then the Tab S3 and it has 1 gig less of RAM but don't think that would be an issue.....Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

@@shijukk72 it plays most games fine, however as you know asphalt 9 is a very very demanding game. Unfortunately, the tablet does not handle the game too well with constant lag. If you want a Samsung tablet that can run it decent, get the tab 7 fe

On my Fire tablet, to uninstall the SD card I have to first select "uninstall SD card" and that allows me to open and remove the card safely. Maybe Samsung decided to do something similar to allow you to remove the SD card from the A7?

Seriously? Budget tablet means it's cheap and don't have overpriced accessories. So it can't be apples but non budget can be non apple... Samsung s7+ for example. It's hardware that matters and not pretty good software ;)

They actually release particular models for exactly these categories. The A-Series is the budget series, the S-Series is the premium line, S-FE/A-lite is a budgetized version of their flagships which is still above the A-Series, and A-lite is the worst of them all.

Hi. Thanks for the review. I just bought mine at Costco and it came with a 64 gb sd card as a bonus. So what would be the point of an sd card if you can't use it? Is there something else I can use an sd card for?

I haven't gotten this tablet yet but i intend to. As for as the sd card, I personally plan to stack it with movies and pictures and possibly music (through USB connected to laptop) and that way i won't have to use up the internal memory. I'm not one to move/save apps to sd cards or anything like that. I'm already used to storing everything on memory card through USB so that's one way you can use it.

I'm trying to decide if the A7 will fit my needs and I'm concerned about you saying that you can't transfer your apps from the former device to your new A7. Could you please elaborate on that for me I really rely on having my docs apps I have a Bible app I have pictures and I was concerned whether I would be able to transfer them over. Go to your settings & scroll down to where it says "build version" tap on it 10 times to activate the "developer options" that will appear at the bottom of the settings menu so tap on it and then scroll down & then you will see a option that is titled something like "make apps movable to external" & activate it & you can now move your apps, photos, music etc to your sdcard.

It's currently on a BF sale for $140. What's the longevity of tablets these days? My last tablet was the Samsung Note Pro 12.2 and lasted 5 years before it started glitching out and breaking down.

Average tablets age is 5 years 3 years super and snappy 2 years a little bit laggy After that probably just 2 years use it to watch KZbin and read books and comics only because it gets a little slow

@@IvanKam11 the eternal dilemma buy now or wait the new one. 4GB and a 7xx Qualcomm snapdragon would be well received. Here in Brazil the price difference from the S6 Lite and A7 is ridiculous. One cost R$1300 the other R$2300. Converting the A7 is US$250 the S6 lite is US$442.
