I've had the S7+ for 3 weeks now, and its incredible! I use it a lot for college. It's practically like a laptop but more portable. I didn't like tablets before but this one I love. The screen is beautiful and the sound is amazing. A beast for multitasking, I always use it on split screen and it doesn't even struggle. Taking notes and drawing is great. Transferring files with samsung flow is very easy, and súper easy to find. Recommend it a 100%.

Im still unsure about what Tablet I need. Im pending between the iPad Air, Pro , Tab S7 or a Microsoft Book. What would you recommend for zur following: Mostly note taking (with pen and Keyboard) and searching up Things in the net (law student), little bit of browsing. I doubt that the iPad OS is really made for work and Im not an artist. And its expensive. And No good File Management. And the pen etc make it expensive even thought I would get it for 730€ New Suggestions?

Have been using it for a month and i think it's really good workhorse, you can do almost anything with it, though sometimes you need to do some workarounds with some functions but when you get used to it then it's just perfect! The screen and the sPen are just amazing!

Just bought this tablet bundled with my S21 Ultra, I cant wait to replace my ipad mini 4 with this tabled. So much more functionality than the ipad mini! Mostly use it to watch media and read ebooks, but def see a lag in the ipad and the speakers are not that good. I love the display. I went to best buy yesterday for my new car radio installation and used this thing and I think it's actually a tablet that I'd buy. 120hz and the ability to watch 4k videos organically in 60fps.. But to sum it all up in one word : Yes.

@@swavvyrico2360 update us if it won't have screen burn in after a year and if the color accuracy is great like white snows and woods becoming a little bluish compared to color accurate and bright LCD. I really want OLED but highest risk of screen burn ins in computers with lots of static images esp if I increae the brightnes during use in daytime, saturated colors, color inaacuracy, loss of details in dark scenes due to poor near-black handling due to processor and faster color degradation in computers since it is ''organic'' still puts me off.

Just ordered the Tab S7 to replace my S4 can't wait to get it. I'm a Samsung guy mainly because of the outstanding video quality. Started years ago with their DLP TV then upgraded to the 65" plasma. Their phones I started with the S6 Edge now have the S10e. I have never been disappointed with any of their products.

i love the tabs7. best decision ive made! ive had a surface pro 3 since 2017 and now it keeps overheating and the fans blows hard and battery life runs about 2-3 hrs. i needed something much more. tablets like the tabs7 pretty much runs same programs as windows anyways. aside from video editing programs like adobe, sony vegas, photoshop and what now. with the tabs7, i can binge watch showsfor hours and all it needs is a good night sleeps charge and 100%. i can also emulate games :D at the end of the day, it all comes down to your preference.

When using the pen often, it will stick (magnetically) to the top right hand edge of the tablet and there it is easy to grab regularly.

I've been carrying it around for the past few weeks and find that I can get my writing work done at a much faster rate with the tab s7 than with a laptop, mostly due to its portability and really nice Google docs support. I use the Kiwi browser in Dex mode to access my LastPass and full Google Docs desktop experience when I need it. The pen is also just amazing, the first Android tablet that I have ever successfully used with OneNote. I also got a Lamy EMR pen that fits my hands better because I was used to writing with Lamy fountain pens. The keyboard cover leaves a lot to be desired. It clamps shut both too strong and too weak at the same time. (As it would slide around but very difficult to pry open. And the 5-row layout is just bad for typing in Thai where the number row is used excessively. But it gets the job done, I also carry around a couple of mechanical keyboards but ended up not using them most of the time.

@@la_gatalina Haven't tried that yet, most of my affairs with Google sheets are done via keyboards. I couldn't get the numpad on my Keychron K4 to work though and the F4 key for stringing doesn't work. The best way to use sheets on the S7 for me right now is through the Samsung Internet browser app, you get access to the full sheet experience with scripts and all with great reliability. Kiwi would be in the runner up.

@@moradita8370 It's pretty basic, you can do basic notebook and page management, you can draw with the S-Pen, you can take photos, attach image and screenshots, create checklist / todo, type, etc. Works ok in DEX mode too.

I ordered an apple ipad pro 11" just a bit ago, then got huge buyer's remorse when I learned about this galaxy tab that comes hundreds cheaper, same size, relatively similar features, and microSD slot for memory expansion!! That sold me, honestly. I returned my ipad and cannot wait for this to arrive in a week. I would have been stuck with 128gb plus maybe cloud storage. Now my 1 Terabyte microSD will keep all my high res media right at my fingertips.

I got tab s7 delivered 3 days back and I'm perfectly happy with it. Here's a small review : Audio : AMAZING. Quad speakers do a really great job and so sound is extremely loud and clear. Display : Loved the display. 120hz does make a difference in the experience, color are bright and as I'd have expected them to be. I was worried about LCD display not being upto the mark but I was dead wrong. I wouldn't have preferred it any other way. I actually prefer LCD display now because the black is not completely blinding. More often than not, I could not see what was actually going on in dark scenes in movies. Here that problem is solved. However, I would like to point out that viewing angles area decent, not great. Colors become pale when looked at from an angle. 3 people should be comfortably able watch the screen if kept at almost 1 arm distance away, more than that it would be stretch. Battery backup : I was surprised that the battery backups is really good on it despite having a fairly large display. No issues at all. You could watch a movie at mid volume and mid brightness with almost 25% battery drain. S pen : Feels really good. Very responsive and the tip of the pen is such that adding a glass screen protector does not undermine the experience in anyway which I was worried about. Dex : I did not get a keyboard cover with the tablet so I can not comment much about it but after manually switching to dex mode, I couldn't find anything spectacular that I would consider using at all. Gaming : Super smooth. COD worked at max performance with any lag whatsoever. Something to note here is that some games might have not been optimised for tablets. I installed fortnight and set all settings to max, though it ran extremely smooth, I could not an extremely clear graphics. They were good, but could have been better. Overall verdict : Great deal, don't have to think twice before getting one. Absolutely great performance, no lag whatsoever. Display is smooth and responsive, audio is brilliant. Viewing angles could have been improved but that's nitpicking.

@10:35 100% agree with the next points, but it's also worth noting that you could spend 1/4 of the cost and get the A model rather than the S and still be able to do all of that. I just did the same and picked up an A8 that lives in our kitchen for music, plex, YT and monitoring/managing our home automations, email and whotnot at home and away. None of that take much processing power. No need to buy an Austin Martin if you're only using it to get to the shops and back ;)

I just upgraded to the S7 from the original Tab S, which still works but was getting a little buggy. Definitely better speakers. The keyboard works better and I like the built in touch pad. The pen is nice, as well, if I can remember to keep my fingers off the screen it'll keep the screen cleaner longer. The Smart Switch app was fantastic and made it the easiest setup I've ever done on any electronic device. I use PC's for my computers, an iPhone 8 for my phone, and then this for my tablet, and this was just so easy on the setup to just move everything over from my other tablet. When I travel I take my tablet and using Chrome Remote Desktop I can access either my home or work PC's, and I like that because it basically turns the tablet into a PC for that experience, but far more portable. Mostly I watch video on my tablets, and while the sound is better than the original Tab S, I don't notice any real difference in the screen other than it's a touch larger. If I'd gone with the S7+ I probably would notice more of a difference.

Quite a useful video, thanks. As someone who has used an iPad for 8+ years, I currently have an iPad Pro 11" (2018) and a family member has a budget Galaxy Tab A7. In my opinion, over the year the iPads apps have started to become more and more like their mobile counterparts so it's quite uncommon to see an app actually make use of the larger display. Some apps (Instagram is the most popular example, even tho I no longer have an Instagram account) still use their iPhone 4/4S version just made massive so the Android app is actually better. People still say that apps on iPad are better than their Android tablet versions and for some apps that is 100% correct (think Adobe apps which take full advantage of what iPad can offer) but most are equally as good/bad and the really bad ones on iOS are actually better on Android so I think my next tablet may be a Tab S7+ for the better display. Sure the new M1 iPad with mini LED display seems amazing but it seems like it will be too big and still is only 1080p for consuming content so only definitive positive iPads have now is the accessory ecosystem. I'm a little concerned if the regular S7 display is any better than what iPads offer but for the S7+, I believe it's the best. Just have to work out if buying a family member the Tab S7 is a good idea. Thanks for the video :)

THIS review was EXCELLENT!! I have been reading reviews from Computer World and PC Magazine and getting a bit overwhelmed. I am a dinosaur because after my Nook HD+ stopped being supported: I have missed having a Tablet. (Yes I know I could learn how to ROOT it and install NEW Android Software, etc). THANK YOU for mentioning HOW well it does for ZOOM. I was debating between Samsung Galaxy S 7 vs Microsoft Surface 7. I use a tablet 80% of the time. When I have to hunker down and catch up on emails, type some letters, and do my monthly Facebook check, I rely on my Chromebook 2 in 1 laptop. I have limited space so tablets are perfect for me. I am also a heavy media consumer, and just recently had a (visiting) granddaughter hook up a Chromecast for me so I can watch Netflix, Tubi, and Prime on my TV in the evening. I hope tablets continue to stay relevant in the marketplace for all of the reasons I just stated. Thank you for the great review on this tablet. I personally can't justify the cost, but I could have been tempted to buy the S7+ prior to the visit by my granddaughter, because of the larger screen. Now I can spend the $$$ I saved on Christmas gifts!

Personally, I got the Tab S7+ for the drawing experience (120hz refresh rate with a 9ms response time on the stylus is great). The moment HP puts those specifications onto their 13-inch Spectre x360, I'll be done purchasing tablets. Until then, this Tab S7 Plus should last me for a few years.

Go for the S7+, the s7 is an LCD display, I couldn't believe that it's not an amoled display. I had to dig out my old tabs, even as old as the Tab S2 has an amoled display so I feel like this is a massive shortfall.

@Darius Beaumont some of the bigger KZbin people definitely use teleprompters! There's quite a few apps for it, and if you watch their eyes, you can see them moving lol. Especially the longer videos, they'll just bullet points scrolling by every few minutes

@@oneguy9916 Yes, I love my tablet! I can do so much with it and the pen is super smooth and really good for writing notes or drawing. The fingerprint scanner also works really well and speakers are really good. I still haven't tried gaming on it but once I get a new controller I will :) it runs really smoothly and fast as well. Basically a portable laptop but better lol

I think the tablet overall is great. Having a common tablet which work as a normal android phone with the same feature, but having a computer feature in a tablet in as low as that price, I think it's work buying. Regarding the down side of this I found it acceptable though it is not a completely laptop thing. Thank you for your advice it helps a lot for me to decide if i'm gong to buy this stuff

No OLED and only 6gb/128gb in the UK for £630 and the keyboard is £200 more. So £830, yet I bought the Galaxy Book Flex 13 inch for £850 with Windows, s-pen, QLED display, 13-inches, better battery life, faster Intel i5, proper backlit keyboard, 8gb RAM, 512gb storage, etc. It is a great tablet and a better laptop than the Tab S6!

@Cesar Gomez amoled degrade much faster than lcd though and cause nasty screen burn in. You will see that after a year or two. I prefer the s7 over the plus version since lcd can last a long time and it's color accurate. It's much better in terms of value over money.

Not to mention he complained about it but didn't offer insight of what would be ideal for design. Most cons mentioned are mostly preference and not based on what the tablet is about. @@shilapandey5569 I know I am not who you addressed your question but I have used androids for years for my phones and I opted for the Ipad Pro 12.9. I was heavily considering both but what made the decision really easy was answering these questions: What am I primarily looking to use this for? How much am I willing to spend? How long am I going to keep it before (possibly) upgrading? For me, I chose Ipad because of Procreate and Notability for art and notes for school. I was willing to save a bit more and get the larger one because the screen size on the 12.9 is similar to regular A4 sheet of paper. I also knew that app and software support was going to ensure that the tablet would be relevant for years. I probably would like the Tab S7 and I think its still a great tablet, but the Ipad Pro fit my use case the best. Now if art isn't as big of a deal and you could benefit from DeX, go Tab S7 all the way. Also keep in mind which ecosystem you are used to. Coming from Android, I do get annoyed every now and then when IPadOS prevents me from doing something or I have to go about something differently than I am used to. They are both intuitive, but having never owned an Apple device I can say its still a learning curve. Outside of the what I have already shared, my last tip would be to specifically look at the apps. Compare the apps you would use for both and decide which one fits your needs the best. Hardware is already virtually the same so the OS and the apps are the only real differentiating factors.

@@shilapandey5569 it’s not the issue, it’s the frustration. 1st, there is no memory card expansion. Once you bought an ipad, it’s forever. On Galaxy tab 7+, you can always add a micro sd up to 1Tb. 2nd, Photos app and Files app are not working together cohesively. Let’s say you have photos in your external ssd, you wanna view them in ipad Photos app, you need to select all the photo and copy them onto the ipad storage then go open them in the Photos app, and if you want to copy folder by folder, forget it, ipad doesn’t allow you to do that. 3rd, ipad is more expensive than android tablet. 4th, google work flows and microsoft office are built-in on Galaxy tab s. There are more stuffs that you can do on android tablet than on ipad. Believe me, go for the galaxy tab tablet if this is your first time tablet.

I got a very specific question, hopefully it will be easy to answer to someone who already owns a Tab S7. My biggest concern it's the way it interatcts with Zoom. I used my computer to meet with 20+ participants per meeting and also to record my Zoom meetings, but I'm wondering if the Tab has the same app as the mobile version where it records to the Cloud instead of the local storage. On the mobile app you can only see up to 4 participants per screen, while on a PC you can see up to 20 participants (I think). I'm also wondering how the sharing option works while on the Tab.
