Maybe this can help some ppl make a buying decision: I just got my Tab S7 and there are some things I've already noticed; 1. When I held the tab S7 in my hand in store for a few minutes and tried it I leaned more towards the S7+! Because the regular S7 felt kind of small, but I am on a budget so I still got the S7 (ordered it online) and I'm SO glad I didnt get the bigger one. The Tab S7 feels huge once u unpack it and use it.. 2. The screen of the regulat S7 is slightly yellowish (I think similar to the IPad) the brighter you make it the less it's noticeable. The S7+ screen is more vibrant and neutral. I would love to have the Tab S7+'s screen even after purchasing the Tab S7 but I'm still satisfied with my Tab S7. If money isn't a problem I would still purchase the Tab S7+ (if you don't mind it's huge size). 3. The latency of the Tab S7 originally was 26ms but is now 9ms just like on the Tab S7+ and that is super noticeable. It's crazy how accurate the pen experience is. 4. If you intend to do heavy Video and Photo editing with multiple open Apps, consider the 8GB version. I do lots of photo editing with large images (4000x6000) and while the experience is still nice, if money isn't a problem I'd choose the 8GB. 5. 120hz are awesome. 6. You'll be happy with your purchase no matter what! Hope that helps some of you :)

I find that smaller channels always have a better opinion on devices. They tend to look at plastic as a bad thing and if a smartphone doesn't include 5g they get mad. Appreciate your review on the Tab S7. I still use my Tab S4 for videos and playing light games, still rocks! Do you think a Tab s7 or s7 pro could replace a laptop for someone with basic usage? My mom only needs a laptop for word, excel and browse. I honestly think an iPad Pro or tab s7 would do the job! Thoughts?

I think Tab S7 would make a good laptop replacement for those use cases. I am currently using it instead of my MacBook Pro for all needs besides video editing. The new iPad Air with design refresh is also worth a look but I prefer Tab S7 over iPad because of its better desktop-like features such as Samsung DeX. Glad you enjoyed the vid! 🙂

You forgot to talk about the most important feature that makes this tablet ANNIHILATE the iPad Pro in terms of productivity, Samsung Dex ! This is the feature 80% of the people buy this tablet over an iPad.

Also NFC would let me tap and print on my Samsung color laser printer. I almost never use my Google Pixelbook 2 laptop now that I have a Samsung S20 Ultra and Dex. I have my S20 plugged into a 27" rotating external display. I play Fortnite @ 60fps as well using an Xbox Elite Series 2 paddle controller. Very nice! Looking forward to getting Visual Studio Code installed on the S7 tablet.

actually, it's only can compare to iPad air 2020. to have a fair test, you need to compare S7+ vs iPad Pro 2020. Samsung is different from Apple. the plus version is better than the regular one in most features and aspects, whereas the iPad Pro 11' and 12.9' have an only difference in size.

Not being able to play graphically intensive games for some "unspecified" amount of time makes the battery bad, got it...lol I get 15-16 hours of continuous KZbin viewing at 50% screen brightness; Wifi, battery saver, and dark mode all on; and all apps closed in the background. And between 19-20 hours if I lower the brightness to 33% (which is still very bright on a 500 nit screen). This makes the S7's battery GREAT. And if you don't believe me goto Best Buy and Amazon purchase reviews...

Good question. It does slant forwards a bit although there is no shifting since the tablet weight is enough to keep it in place. I think it’s very good for writing.

Beware everyone. This tablet has overheating issue. I received mine last week and had to return it back to Samsung today for repair. They refused to send me a replacement. I used it for couple days only and the problems started. The screen above the keyboard pins gets so hot. It starts getting hot after less than 3 minutes of a very light use like taking notes or browsing on internet. It really hurts your skin if you rest your hand on the screen in landscape mode and take notes. I feel this is another Note 7 game that Samsung had gone through before. Don't bother to buy it. I hope I hadn't traded-in my S6 and returned this piece of junk. Now I'm stocked with it.

@@KevinRiazi no they didn't. But I requested a replacement but they refused. I used it for couple days only. Now I will stock with repaired one, if they repair it. Im pretty sure they'll send it back and say it's normal, similar the response gave to the others. I just documented in case if I get injured or my house burns down.

Yes they are replaceable but not covered under warranty. Either Samsung will sell them separately or you could buy third-party options which would be cheaper.

No. trust me. The underscreen finger print sensor on the Samsung S20 Ultra, S7+, etc. is garbage and only frustratingly works 90% of the time. I have the stock screen protector installed on the S20 device and it is a pain in the a$$! Yes, I've reconfigured it many times to no avail. Most of the time it's just faster swiping the unlock pattern instead. The facial unlock feature is getting there but needs improvement also. My best experience with finger print sensor has been on my Google Pixel 3A XL device with a very fast sensor in the back of the phone. Hoping the S7 tab model on the power button is just as good. Just purchased two of the S7 512gb Mystic black models and looking forward to the power button finger print sensor!

The ipad pro 128gb is 999$ and a extra 100$ for apple pen, whereas the s pen is free, with expandable storage • 256gb is 1099 plus 100 for apple pen • 512gb is 1299 plus 100 for apple pen So basically, you're paying 100$ more for the base iPad pro, $200 more the 256, and $400 for the top ipad pro storage, than the top s7+ Apple Air is $599 for 64gb with no expendable memory? And 32gb for 329$ lol. Apple knows that their users are oblivious. And this is why we say iphone ppl are dumb. You can get the galaxy tab s7 11 inch with 128gb internal and expendable memory for 649$. The only thing that the ipad can do better is edit videos faster. Other than that, there's no advantage Apple ppl have the same lame excuses as to why "iPad is better " because of the A chip 1. Performance is basically the same ( except for video editing) ask apple ppl in what dept is the performance better or where the chip really matters. They'll say gaming and video editing 2. Apps eventually go over to Android 3. Benchmarks means nothing when it comes to day to day use 4. Samsung gets security patch updates every month and now 3yrs of software updates. Who the hell wants to keep a device for 5 years when tech is moving so fast. 3 years is Enough. I personally trade in my Samsung device yearly with Samsung trade in program and split the difference. But Apple ppl like "we get 5 years of software updates " only apple ppl dumb enough to keep the same boring hardware for 5yrs while tech gets better. Heres your cookie 5. Samsung has its own ecosystem too. Buds, phone, watch, tablets, and laptops all works together
