If you want to experience Samsung tablets for the first time, this may be the device for you. I'd say this is a nice entry device, with a lot of nice things like IP68 rating and a rather large storage (starting at 128 GB). Which are all HUGE improvements over the overpriced S7 FE. If you already have a Galaxy tab S, either wait for next year or get one of the premium tablets (S9, S9 Plus, S9 Ultra).

I didn't think the s7 fe was considered overpriced. Around here people love it alongside the s6 lite for being cheap and useful.

No Upgrade needed right now. Also you will loose USB 3.1 featured on S7Fe, as S9Fe/+ comes with USB 2.0

@@sharmamuneet Usb 3.1 purpose here only allow video out which i do not really utilise. I guess my main purpose of upgrading would be the processor and ram. Currently, my s7fe stutters when i multitask notes and chrome/edge. It can't seem to keep edge/chrome open in the background without refreshing when i return.

Hi! I'm considering buying a tablet and comparing the cost of the Galaxy Tab S8+ with that of the S9 FE+. S8+ is still really good, it’s not too big that it make you feel like you are dragging a freaking monitor with you everywhere and not so small that you cant open like 5-6 apps and can still see and perform smoothly. Also dex is pretty good, the fe doesn’t have dex unfortunately Hope this helps you 😊

Tab s8... No question, anything with the Celeron of mobile chips, (Exynos) is garbage compared to the Qualcomm snapdragon chip

My Tab S7+ is even better than this, it has a better display, better speakers, and even a better processor. Exynos 1380 is even worse than Snapdragon 865+ on Geekbench

Been using the tab s7+ for over a year and half and it is an excellent device. Don't think it will get one ui 6 tho.

That's the boat I am in. It seems likely to have to trade in and get the s9 plus even though it's more expensive. I would have gotten this device if it hadn't felt like quite a bit of cutting measures.

You're comparing two completely different variants. One is premium tablet, and the other is FE, which is always a tad cheaper and has lower specs. You can compare this with S7 FE.

Pad 6 has better performance overall and is cheaper but doesn't come with a pen and other features from Samsung, that's it (although I believe Xiaomi made a similar feature to DeX)

Hi! I just got my S9 FE+ tablet. The S Pen do not need to be charged? I place my S Pen behind but it does not show the S Pen is charging or see the S Pen battery level. Called Samsung about it and they said it should work.

There's no air gesture with the pen, if you need that get the S9 series not FE.

The air commands are available in the S9 FE+, but the included pen isn't Bluetooth, so you need to buy the Pro S pen separately.

Is it just me, or is magnetically attaching your stylus to your tablet just... dumb? This is from the same company that, for a long time now, learned how to store the stylus INSIDE THE DEVICE!!! No samsung tablet has ever had a stylus that stores inside the device. Only the Ultra phones or Note phones in the past do that and those devices use much smaller S pens. A full size S pen can not fit inside a tablet

My xiaomi pad 6 is so much better than this it has better refresh rate , better speakers , and better display as it is 2k! And this is 200 dollars more and 100 dollars for xiaomi stylus so you save approximately 100 dollars!
