Quite a few of you have asked in the comments section about the ECG and BP monitoring, both the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro have the hardware present for that but as of now in India due to some Govt regulation rule it's not enabled. So Samsung needs to work with the Indian Govt to enable that feature.

I am using this watch from past 14 days loved this watch easy to wear with always on display option I am getting 1.5 day battery life with full day of wearing with always on display off I am getting 3 to 4 days of battery life with full day usage

I bought the Galaxy Watch 4 at 13,500 Feels like a way better deal compared to 5 Pro or even the 5 for that matter, only downside is charging (takes about 2 hours to fill), but if you keep charging it in bits and pieces from time to time, it doesn't feel like that much of a hassle Would recommend the Galaxy Watch 4 hands down

13:38 FYI,the Dual LTE doesn't mean you can use two networks at the same time on your watch(when the watch is disconnected from bluetooth) just like on your phone,rather it means when your watch is connected with bluetooth and you are calling someone from your watch,it will show you both sim options to choose from,same as your phone

See the Apple watch only connects with iPhones and this Galaxy Watch does not connect with iPhones but is for Android phones. So if you have an iPhone get the apple watch but if you have an android phone this one as of now is the best android wear smartwatch.

It's some Indian Govt regulation issue, that's what I came to know when I asked Samsung India officials. There are some hacks to enable it, I didn't try it but changing the region while setting up the watch and creating a non India Samsung account should make it work.

Galaxy Watch 4 sold in India didn't use to come with Samsung Pay. I bought my GW4 from UAE and in it, while during setup, if you give country as UAE, then only Samsung Pay was enabled. {Watches sold there are African/Middle east models, and don't have India as a country option}. I have tested successfully the NFC Pay option in GW4 Samsung Pay personally many times in shops, airport lounges. But it's a bit headache to bend your wrist like that. So now I use my phone {Samsung galaxy s series} only mostly for contactless tap to pay payments. My suggestion would be to get the watch from a country where everything is enabled like Samsung pay, ECG, Blood Pressure like UAE. However for all these there are workarounds. If you are getting LTE version, then there is a hack to enable samsung pay by changing country . XDA forum has posts on that.

Hey Ranjit, I've a question here: I've been using Honor Magic watch 2 for more than two years and am completely satisfied however there are a few things missing in the watch e.g. replying to a text message through the smartwatch but the battery life of the watch is very good. although the company has claimed it 14 days, practically the battery lasts till 10 days. So, my question is, When a chinease smartwatch company can make a Kirin chipset for the smartwatches which always gives a good battery life, then why Samsung which is a technology giant can't modernize/optimize their chipset for better battery life? And this is the reason, I'm reluctant to buy a Samsung smartwatch.

The cause is mainly because the bank in your country doesn't have the samsung pay approval I've got the same problem here in Canada , nothing much to do except use Google pay but i don't know if we have it on the watch

Yeah it can, I didn't try playing music but other stuff yes works with Google Assistant but I noticed slightly higher battery drain when using Google Assistant that's why I reverted back to Bixby.

If you already have the Watch 4, the Watch 5 is not a big upgrade just batt life is slightly better on Watch 5. The watch 5 Pro is a good upgrade for those on the older Galaxy Classic watches, it gets almost the same batter life the older Galaxy watch that was on Tizen that used to get almost 3 days battery life.

It works for me in Galaxy watch 4.. You need to use a real BP monitor to calibrate the watch first. You need to take 3 readings from an actual BP monitor and use it to calibrate the watch. Then the watch can individually measure the BP.
