I had to return my galaxy watch 4 and 5. I found the vibration motor very weak, I was mossing texts, calls and alarms. I had the strong and long setting on too and was still too weak. My watch active 1 has a better vibration motor and it's 4 years old. How do you find the vibration?

Excellent job on the video. I just bought this for the wife today and it does a lot more than her old Fitbit ever did. The only problem is she is not super technical but great in medical, so the icon doesn't show what the program is. So, I have a question or suggestion for Samsung--- is there any way to get the icon ? I'm sure a lot of senior citizens would get a smartwatch if they knew all the bells & whistles as you described in the video. Keep up the excellent work on the videos.

How can you edit the custom watch face on galaxy watch 3? I click customize and the only options are the position if the clock and the color of the clock that's literally it. I can't add the date or the battery or anything. Can't find any info googling super frustrating

Trying to pair my watch & phone. At 3:30 in this video its at the "getting your watch ready" stage. I get to 55% at this stage & "pairing failed" comes up on the watch & the phone starts searching for other devices. Any advice would be very welcome.

Great question. That will be in the Bluetooth settings of the watch. Just set your buds to pairing mode and then you can select to connect to it.

It doesn't do DAMAGE exactly. But there are chances of it affecting ur life of the battery.

Same as every battery, like electric scooters or bikes, but their chargers often have some kind of limiter so they stop charging when battery is full

To be safe, i unplug the charger when fully charged.

Using it to 0% often causes more 'damage' of your battery life with the newer batteries. I wouldn't worry about it as much as it limits the power troughput.

It does not connect to iPhone so it would not work. The watch would still have a unique number but no connectivity with phone.

17:37 on my Watch4, this keyboard option is multi-tap, *not* T9! When I type "435", I just get "gdj" with no helpful autosuggestion (rather than what you get: autosuggest of "hello"). I've played around with settings & looked it up online, but I can't figure out how to make it do T9 instead. 😕

I still have my Galaxy Watch Active 2 and it has been really good. Even after almost 3 years the battery is still 2 to 3 days. The thing I like better about the mine over the new ones is that it came factory with a leather strap. I know it is personal choice, but I just am not keen on those rubberised bands. Aside from the fact it runs Google Services, it doesn't look (in the interface and speed) a lot different to the Tizen versions, like the Watch Active 2 or Watch 3. I am not sure they are a worthy upgrade yet, unless you want Google services on your watch.

Don't like the rubberised bands either. Ordered a stainless one from Ringke and also ordering another from StrapStudio that's a hybrid with the rubber on the underside but a real leather on the outside.

I'm still using my active 1 😆 still lasts me 2 days if i push it. I just charge it every evening when im in the shower from 50% to 100% (in less than 1hr) and im good for another day. I regret not getting the active 2 for the voice calling. I did try the watch 4 and 5 but the vibration motor is just too weak compared to my 4 year old active 1. I was missing texts, calls and alarms due to weak vibration (even with long ans strong vibration turned on). I notified Samsung of my experience and hope they rectify this for the watch 6 i plan on getting.

I bought he Watch 4 40mm in silver (I've a small wrist) and they're selling fast so I grabbed it. Some features like ECG and BPM are not available in my region but that's fine. You can remap the keys and i noticed when you choose more than one pic on a customised watch face the background changes everytime I tap it to wake....which is SOOOOOOOO cool....you can also turn on 'watch only' if you want to take it off....I can't sleep with a watch on 🤣 Some people are side loading google assistant but Bixby is really powerful and I didn't do that.

You will need to go into the Galaxy Wearable app and under Watch Settings go to Notifications. Here you will be able to find the Ring app. Allow for notifications. When your camera detects motion it will send a notification to the watch. I pay for Pro and it shows me a picture. I'm not sure if you can see the live feed.

For calls it does need to be in Bluetooth range. I believe you can make a couple of payments without being connected to the phone.

Yes, on the phone go to the Samsung Wearables app and then go to Notifications. Here you can turn on notifications for apps that are not showing them.

Do you have a problem with the battery going dead in less than 8 hours? if so, what do you do to correct it? I sent my first watch back because of it and just got the replacement and it is doing the same thing.

That is very odd behavior, I have not seen this. What phone are you using it with? It sounds like there might be a Bluetooth issue from the phone causing it. I would pair it up and make sure that you have the latest software on the watch. If you are having issues after that, use the Reset option on the watch to repair to see if that fixes it.
