im having this issue with my phone, can you troubleshoot/confirm its a magnet problem by holding a magnet to the area ? or does it need to be disassembled? my phone has never been apart from the factory...thanks!

If it is an issue with the magnet then yes. If it’s a board issue due to a short or a display issue then the magnet trick won’t work.

I didn't have a magnet, so I attach the original magnet back with a thin sponge double-sided tape and it works fine!

I've managed to fix my screen issue but I'm getting no signal now. Could the antenna be damaged in the process of trying to fix the display?

That’s almost always related to the screws not being tightened enough, the contact points on the boards need to be making good contact with the frame, that’s most likely all it is.

Oh thanks for the reply! I hope you're right. Is it possible I've damaged the antenna board and it will need replacing? Or is it more likely the screws? Reason I ask is it took me almost all day to get the magnet in the correct positioning for screens to work and scared to mess around with it incase magnet moves. I've noticed when try tighten the screws closest to the magnet the megnetism of the screwdriver caused the magnet to move slightly so I've left the screw closest to the magnet of. Do you know where can order replacement screws from as well?

Just wanted to add that I've noticed at my sisters house in the top bedroom closest to the front of the house it gets a signal 4G and 5G but at my house it's stuck on no service or emergency calls only which is very strange an all..
