in my case the phone turns off when it is closed just like yours but when the charger is constantly connected the problem does not occur. is this also a problem with this hinge cable?

Thank you for the professional video my screen first display a green line and then it not turn on at all, but the small screen showing that the phone is working, will this be the same cable ? and may I know what is the thickness of the double tape you used ? and what adhesive and water proofs you used to assemble it back again ?

Green line problem may share different parts, we strongly suggest you leave your local repair man to check, generally it should link to the screen problem

@@rewatechnology2008 they all take the easy fast way which is change the whole frame .. that's why Im asking, the phone doesn't dropped and it wasn't have any other issue just the green line and then dark screen

It is better to fix the screen with OCA than 3M tape. And you installed the waterproof rubber part upside down.

I followed this tutorial and I was able to remove the screen without damaging it! Great video! Keep up the good work ;) P.S. I didn't have a heating plate, so I used a hot air gun set to 100°C and 20% airflow speed. Remember to heat up the general area before starting prying off the screen (and use IPA, obviously).
