I turned my Flip 3 into a retro emulation device last year. Works better that way since 888 is good for it. Flex mode is perfect for 4:3 aspect ratio. Razr 5G is better for movies and TV shows.

hopefully the 8 gen 2 will give us 120fps in more games like iPads and I know this is random but I liked it better when they released their tabs in august rather than feb as it allowed for more improvement and a better processor, I want to see snapdragon 8+ gen 2 in the next z series

I would like to see 100% gaming usage on both S22 Ultra and Z Flip 4 because S22 Ultra has bigger battery but less efficient chipset and it's the polar opposite for the Z Flip 4. Maybe they would last the same?

I used to have a plastic screen protector and it got destroyed by heavy Call of Duty Mobile, how will the screen handle extended gaming ? Will the fingernails scratch it ?

I could probably lower some settings on genshin and stay at 60fps. Shadow quality is really intensive definitely going to lower that setting.

I think his booster settings might not be set properly. I'm generally getting 55-60 FPS on all high settings no motion blur on my flip 4. Turning off GOS helps, but the heat eventually slows it down.

@@jacobbetzo8435 Same. I got the phone when it came out. Thermal throttling is a major issue for gaming on this phone. I get 60 fps on dolphin emulator for a few minutes then it drops down to the 40s. Same thing with genshin. I'm getting a cooler to put on the back of my phone. If it works well and if I remember I'll send you the link.

@@ThePigeon51 Thanks! Odd question, but how's the smoothness? I'm finding that my Flip 3 actually performs better with most games than my Flip 4. I like using Terraria as an example since it's easy to tell when a side scroller is getting choppy. My GPUWatch reports back at 60 FPS when playing (Terraria in this example), but It definitely doesn't look like 60 FPS. With emulation I'm also getting some major stutter (retroarch, MGBA) which is strange since my Flip 3 has no issues. Again everything reports back as 60 FPS. Just want to know what you're experiencing. (For the record all my benchmark tests come back great if not better when put up against the same phone. I'm guessing this must be a software issue?)

Hey! Just wanted to ask, how's the screen after 9 mos of gaming heavily? Mine's almost at it's 5th month and there had been a few cracks and lots of ripple-like stuff on screen where the controls are located for Mobile legends. I was wondering if this is supposed to be normal since the screen is not as durable as the s21 ultra, which I've been using before I switched phones.

@@legendarysushi2562 thanks for the response! I've recently went to samsung service center and technician said it is not under warranty, but will replace the lcd free of charge before the end of my warranty period as long as I don't incur additional damage to the unit. 5 mos to go *sigh*

The only thing Flip 4 buyer's are curious about is Battery Life & ironically this the ONLY part every KZbinr is try to intentionally DELAY in Pre-Booking phase. Samsung has bought the Silence of Tech Tubers on Battery Life 😅😎.

The battery life has been tested already. The gen 1 + is better and more effecient. The Fold 4 beats the S22. But u can find videos for sure on battery by ppl who do it more for the science

Battery life is great for me so far, gaming is hit or miss. Most games run better on my Flip 3, but games like Genshin run better on my Flip 4.
