I have switched from fold 3 to fold 5. What I've noticed is that the fold 5 camera indoor low light is total garbage when compared to fold 3. If you still have your fold 3, try out taking the same photo with both phones indoors with moderately low light so that night mode doesn't kick in.

Just look at the camera Metadata, you will see the new phone downgraded aperture from f1.8(fold3) to f2.4 (fold5)and take images at higher iso to compensate, which results in absolute rubbish image quality for low light. I'm comparing fold 3 vs. fold 5 for reference.
