If he is watching video or movie he will definitely unfold the screen bcoz he knows what he has paid for. And if he rarely unfolds the phone then there r possibly 2 reasons, 1)that the user is fool 2)He has lots of money n bought fold phone just for showoff..

A bigger display is definitely a lot better when gaming . Or when doing some productive tasks , you can use multiple windows . Basically all the advantages which a tablets have over a smartphone are also applicable for foldable .

I think the price of foldable is too much rn Galaxy fold 4 is 1.5L< in that budget a sensible person will buy a phone ( small form factor) and a iPad/ Tab/ Laptop which will eliminate most of the issues with foldable rn. Now we are left with only three people who will buy it 1. Fool 2. Rich and 3. Rich and tech enthusiast

This is my thoughts.. Me yaha fold ki baat kar raha hu par mere foldable ka matlab hai jo fold ho sakte hai. Na ki samsung fold series i am more interested here in talking about flip. Foldable phones are the future par vese nahi jesa aap log soch rahe ho. Foldable phone successful aur ek standard tab baneha jab uska form factor aaj kal ke phone ke jesa ho par wo flip hokar jeb me chala jaye.. Ek chhoti si problem ye hai ki phone ko jo log sambhal ke rakhte hai.. Wo log ek jeb me sir or sir phone rakhte hai.. Na to usme coin, key ya other phone bhi nai rakhte... So by making phone small to carry and secure is going to be very important in the future(6-8 years from now ). So phone durable hona chahiye jab wo closed(folded) ho.. About screen patli bhi hogi to bhi koi farak nai padega kyoki seriously log phone ka bahot jyada dhyaan rakhte hai.. Bas quality achchi aur fold karne par uski wo line nai dikhni chahiye jaha se wo fold hota hai. In the software section each and every program, animation, haptics, resolution aur jo aapne bataya ki content dekhne par wo bars dekhne ko milte hai uska kuch to out of the room solution sochna padega. Maybe Samsung ka next idea ye nai hai ki wo bahot sare foldable beche. Mera matlab Samsung company band nai karega par wo folding glass aur folding hinch ke design pe itna jyada kaam karega ki wo us hinch aur wo display ko smartphone companies ko hi bechna suru kardega aur us ko Samsung ek standard bana dega. Jo abhi Samsung ne display ko bana diya hai.. Samsung ka jo naam hai display ke bare me wo wahi naam hinch aur foldable display me karna chahta hai. Remember aap Samsung ki phone ki tariz jitni nahi suni hogi usse bhi jyada aapne Samsung ki display ki suni hai.. Btw me ye sari baate hawa me nahi keh raha hu, Gujrat se hu isliye business ko samaz ne ka achcha experience hai..

FYI Samsung is the only company in world manufactures foldable displays, and supplies to all companies including apple. Innovation is happening to improve to reduce hinge for inside screen, and it's happening. Form factor, first you don't like tablets/ipads, referring your old videos. Foldables are not easy to use to open and use while on the go, like on escalator or bike. So have to use in stable mode. Don't compare to normal phones rough and tough use. In next month Mi Mix Fold 2 will release in India, form factor you liked it, but Ui is worst. Samsung uses Android 12L and Mi uses Meme UI.
