Samsung KS9000 Gaming Showcase (Part 5/5)

Hi Guys,
Requested by many of you to showcase the KS9000 during the night to give you guys a idea of what it looks like.
I also decided to add some old games some of what you guys wanted to see which I have not covered or demo.

It's really incredible!! The game mode is bright and vibrant where on my vizio p it was extremely dull and I was also forced to put it into dynamic mode. It's also incredible on pc!! Have a great trip to Germany and Happy Holidays to you and your family!!

I've had the tv for about a week bro!! loving it!! I have to admit that I find the hdr on both Xbox one s and ps4 pro to be slightly underwhelming. It just feels very dim and less vibrant. The display is amazing though and am very happy with it!! Thanks for your help!! Hope your doing well bro!

I have to agree with you, make sure your uhd colours are set on for both, also set your colour to native instead of auto, always check this for each game because it can go either way, where I can see that colours a washed away even if I would have the tv calibrated. Good to hear you enjoying the set, its an amazing tv and will take a while to get use to the various settings. Am doing alright its just busy at the moment, getting ready to head off to germany to see family for xmas and all, hope your doing well.

I find the Samsung power logo distracting... i got mine set to off in the settings. Enjoying my Ks9000 thanks for the content.

Shit man..was talking to you..didn't know you had a vid channel..nice following u got..so u don't mind edge-lit..I couldn't afford 9800 FALD..no biggie..I said clearly one of the best top line tvs on market for 2016..curved or flat.i could take either..no big deal..well built tv and alot money u pay for design and durability..some of OLED that are affordable are so cheaply built, but still expensive as hell..not sure I'd trust playing video games on OLED yet..idk..the flagship OLEDs are still outrageous..can get this 9000 for abt 2Gs and dropping, not bad at all..I know model numbers are different for every country..think I addressed that..good job with vid(s)!! cont success my man!!

Lol, its cool and thank you. I would go for flat because the curve is not that great when you view it from the sides and I've notice, it loses the colours and everything. I am always in front of the tv so it doesn't bother me and plus am use to curve. The lg oleds are awesome tv, oled has no issue with loss of quality when view from the sides even curved because of the panel but however the colours in the center with the deep blacks can lose quality. You can't really go wrong with either set, its just the little things from both sides. I prefer samsung by that little bit because I think it had the more pop with their sets. Holiday sales should see the prices drop and by next year or in 6 months you should see these set drop at a great price with the new stuff coming out.

No problem, the ks9000 in the uk is only in Curve.

In Puerto Rico like US the curve one is KS9500, 9000 is plain I,m lokking for the plain one because is more cheap lol

wow that' looks great ... glad you did a night vid because at my age, that's probably the only time I game/watch tv ... Are you using the PS4 Pro? I was also wondering your thoughts on purchasing the KS8000 instead of the 9000. I know that SUHD and the Super Mr240 is on the 9K but would my meager human eyes even care?

no, i wasn't using the ps4 pro, just standard ps4 and xbox one s. I am using the pro now, and should have some gaming vids up on that by sunday. I would go for it because its pretty slim the difference and both great tv. Your eyes will not notice, the difference is deeper blacks and whites with faster motion.

Awesome awesome. Do you know much about the back panel separation issue with the Ks8000 and would you say the build quality of the 9000 > 8000? Thanks again for all your replies. Much appreciated. (not sure if I asked this question on another video lol)

Hi, I have done this already on many of my videos.. I am using the standard gaming mode. If you take a look at my Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, forza horizon 3 and gears 4 vids, from the start of each video I would show what settings I am using which is the same for these games in this video. In order to remove the blur effect have you tried to set the HDMI port of ps4/one as PC? I want to try this solution today after workday. The TV is perfect but the blur effect is a little bit annoying.

Yep, I have had it there all the time. Its not the tv, its the bloody game I found out in the settings of games, they have blur effects on!

hey do you think its hard to switch back to 1080p after experiencing 4k?

oh hell yea!!! I still have tv channels in hd and it looks blurry to me and not clear or sharp or no colours!!!! streaming is fine because your regular stuff on tv or some movies I can really tell. I know a lot of people are saying you can't see the difference etc..like this is how I am with the ps4 and ps4 pro... for example yea.. i play titan fall on the pro and it doesnt look different to me and am thinking this is crap?? but when I put it side to side, oh I noticed the difference with speed and parts of textures and more. Keep this in mind, 4k is 4 times 1080p, it like me going back from retina to none retina or a samsung 2k screen vs an apples 1080p screen. You really do notice these things, and if you dont notice it, its because the content is not really in 4k, its upscaling trying to be and has done a shit job of it, or.....the 1080p content, has been upscaled close to 4k and you think its 1080p but its not 1080p.

Whys is the motion blur so bad at 30fps? My Sony never shows any double images like this.. Do you notice it much?

not really, you have to consider that am also recording from an iPhone 7 plus in 4k 30fps and plus you get a bunch of editing crap and youtube not always showing you what I see, but in person, I can't see anything. Plus with this tv I have all motion process features switched off and not on.

raindammit Yea sure, no problem. I just have to finish upload my ps4 pro unboxing, exchanging the 1tb hard drive to 3TB and I will be showcasing games running on the pro, will incloude gta 5.

Yes it is switched on but am not sure if its using it or not? i will test it out on my playstation pro this week.

I already have the PS4 pro. I am going to upload tomorrow an unboxing of it. After I will upload also how to upgrade the 1tb hard drive to 3tb hard drive and plus am going to show some 4k games etc.

Well I do have playstation now account active which I have not been using to play old games, Plus I need to do some xbox 360 games also, so I will check them out and hopefully I will have them upload this weekend.

I honest don't know on this one but what I do know is when I am playing HDR Games and 4k movies, it does work on dynamic mode and all other picture setting modes. I was suppose to do a vid to demo this, I will have to put it together.
