@@haans013 in Resolution Settings i can only change between 5120x1440p then 1920x1440x and 1920x1200p, 1600x1200p. When i see your Video u can change much more Resolution when u turn everythink on. I have rtx 2080ti and latest drivers 457.30. Do u know why it is so? Only when i turn in on 120hz i have the full options. I also have 1008.1. At least i have much less flickering then before. The VRR Setting helps me alot

Though this was 2 years ago. Your info is now incorrect on the refresh rate that you have to have a 3 series Nvidia. I have a 2080 RTX and it works 100 percent. Just FYI.I ended up getting two of these monitors. The 2080 runs both. Boton monitor is 240, and the top is 140. I had to get a special heavy duty stand to handle them both.

You probably need to turn off Adaptive Sync before you can change that! Please try.

Hi , I don't know why but the black equalizer works for me the opposite of what they say... The closer I get to 1 the more the backlighting decreases.. Does this happen to you too?

If you still have this problem, it's the Nvidia driver. Specifically, the 8bit VS 10bit setting. I had that until I modified this setting, switch this setting back and forth and set your resolution right and it will solve the black screen and flickering problem.

So do you leave Adaptive-Sync on for the monitor, you won't experience G-sync without it. When I turn it on my response time, refresh rate, and low input lag are greyed out not letting my put it back my preferred settings. Does Nvidia control panel overwrite or does it need to communicate with you monitor through the Adaptive-Sync setting?

Hiya, thanks for the video. I'm having a different issue. I've got razer blade pro 17 which has 2080 super. (NVIDIA driver is the latest). I've got it connected using HDMI cable and I seems to be stucked with 60HZ. adaptive sync is also off and cannot be turned on. VRR option is also not available. I've got the firmware updated to 1012.1. Is it because I'm using the wrong cable? should I be using USB C (thunderbolt) to DP or maybe thunderbolt to HDMI before those functions are available? Please help. much appreciated.

Hi. This resolution with 240hz is only supported by DisplayPort cable and also only with a videocard that can compress the feed. I believe you should be able to get 120hz but i'm not sure.

The GPU requirement are 2XXX not a 3XXX requirement....my 2070 pushes 5120x1440 @240Hx perfectly fine and even in games etc.

I'm having issue with my G9 240hz mode everytime i try to launch a game in full screen mode the monitor turns off and i have to force quit the game. The only way i am able to play games is to play in window borderless mode. The games i tried so far are valorant, rogue company and chivalry 2 beta but then again few of the other games work alright like yakuza 6 and battletoads. Idk why this happens ? I have the latest build for my pc like 3080 and i9. If this was hardware issue it would've happened in every single game i also don't have multiple monitors attached to my system. I tried almost everything ppl suggested on reddit like setting no scaling in nividia control panel and at this point spending soo much i am frustrated for a solution. Any help ?

This seems likely to be a refresh rate issue. Either the game(s) are set at a refresh rate that your monitor does not like or you need to update your NVIDIA drivers. According to NVIDIA, you need at least 455.xx to be able to run at 240 Hz at 5120x1440

Hi dude i have odyssey g7 paired with rtx 3080 and i am seeking for three types of config (i know it depends on personal pref but i am complete noob at configing Contrast to brightness ratio so i take what ever you can tip me). One for FPS games like Warzone and Fortnite, one for AAA games like Rdr2 or Res Village and one for hdr gaming (default is too dark for me and yes i downgrade when using hdr to 144hz to achieve 10bit). Please help me so i thank you very very much in advance. I use adaptive sync and i have vrr on and no i didnt encountered any flicker etc. I guess i have good example of this monitor. Also i dont know if keep defaults at nvidia panel (color etc.) or to pick Nvidia settings.

While the monitor is on 240hz? Cause you need to set 240hz in de monitor first. Also could be 1000 series doesn't support it. The signal uses some kind of display port compression. Maybe the 1080 doesn't support it. Then the bandwidth is too low for 200hz.
