Yeah, I wired the audio interface incorrectly and used the recorder's amp instead of my audio recorder. Learned from my mistake 😅😆 Hopefully, future videos will sound even better 🤙🏻🔥

Just upgraded from the origonal G9 to an OLED and i picked the ultragear instead of the new G9. I love the ultrawide in some things but really i always thought maybe a 21:9 would be better. Get to try it out this weekend 😊

Having come from an odyssey neo g9 to the 45" ultragear, I like the ultragear better. The larger size and things in 3d games not stretching is way better.

Hey Aral, thanks for the video, but im missing some vital informations, maybe you can clear up on them - As an long-time owner of the G8 i know that this 85% TV and 15% Monitor, the Tizon OS is awfully bad in the G8 one, the IO like everything Mini/Mikro which is really bad, you can barely switch inputs in the software (all is called PC, not HDMI or DP), in the middle of the day you get asked 3 times if you want to do the "Screen-Stabilization NOW?", No-Guarantee for Burn-In but Dell does it, No safe resoluitions a 10Bit - Keyword "nvlddmkm crashed", Built-In Boxed suffer the Bass-Voice problem, when action-bass is produces, you can barely understand what "voices" say. - TL;DR Panel is awesome on the G8, all around Software and TizonOS is really not acceptable.

Those are some excellent questions, and definitely noted to include on the future reviews 🫱🏼‍🫲🏼🔥The G9 still runs the Tizen OS. I haven't had the G8 series, so I won't be able to talk about those issues, but from my experience on this version; switching inputs have been fairly easy. Especially with the included remote. However, setting up split-screen mode has been not ideal. First of all, I couldn't find a way to do an easy HDMI + DisplayPort split screen. You can do one input + remote connection with your Galaxy Book or Dex device. Haven't had any random stabilization prompts, errors or crashes at all. And after about a month of so heavy usage, still no burn-in issues so far. The speakers are pretty decent, but as you saw on the video, I'm running desktop speakers don't utilize those that much. I hope this answers some of your questions 🤙🏻💯

I'm still waiting for the 57 inch 8k(technically 4k both sides) Odyssey to come out chances by September per previous news, which should be much better!, the OLED def looks good, but there's been a lot of feedback that it's not the best for work due to texts not being that cleared

I'm coming from a 34 inch Ultrawide Alienware Monitor so going from 1440p to 8k(4k both sides) and going to a super ultrawide will be something to adjust , normally I have 3 monitors but I'm sure it will; be a fun journey , expensive but fun hopefully, I hope to do a video with my own review as well

@@drunkhusband6257 Thank you, I am getting this with the intent to have a future-proof monitor , my current 34-inch ultrawide Alienware monitor has been around for the past 5 years, and even if I don't max out using the rtx 4090, it will still be a great experience!, maybe in the next few short years we have a better graphics card that will handle it I may plan my next PC upgrade within 5 years, I'm sure by then it will be 5090 or 6090 lol

Which cable do you use to get the 5120x1440p resolution? If u play 4k blu-rays on this with a 4k player hooked up to it like i have a panasonic UB-820-k 4k player if i hooked that up to this monitor is there a way u can get to play the 4k blu-rays to fit the whole screen?

I'm running the DisplayPort from my PC, and it does have HDMI 2.1 for a faster refresh rate too. However, I can't tell whether the Blu-Ray can play a fit the whole screen for sure. It does depend on your BluRay's resolution support + the movie's aspect ratio too. You can enforce a "zoom" option on the display's settings though

I'm disappointed by the light ring at 00:51, it doesn't work properly with screen mirroring. Regardless of whether using HDMI or DisplayPort, in SD or HDR mode it will still show up as a different shade of blue rather than what's actually being show on screen. Samsung need to fix this because it's apparently an issue on the G8 and G9 Neo too. It doesn't work as advertised.

Lol close but not really 🤙🏻🔥 the audio signal going into my Ninja V was from the wrong source so it was peaking with a lot of rustle. I don’t use AI to fix my audio, but tried to do my best to recover it with my tools

Eh it's a tough situation, and I've been there. I think it's ultimately up to you. My 4050 also has difficulty keeping up with it, but I love the display quality too much haha. I plan on upgrading to a 4080 or a 4090 pretty soon 🤙🏻🔥

The ports are trash. Mini hdmi? No thunderbolt 4 hub? The usbc ports don't have PD or DP? the screen is OK but everything else is from 2016. Trash. The screen is also dated. 32:9? 1440p? We have 4090s now. We need that resolution to be 7680x2160. or even 5120x2160.
