But you didn't mention that even though many of these One Connect Boxes look exactly alike especially the large one, the wattages are very different among the large One Connect : some are 170w, 200w, 25w and 450w. The connection to the tv is the same but the wattages vary.. For those that get a Samsung TV that requires a One Connect Box but do not have the box, just make sure you get the box that is 100% compatible to your specific TV.

@@D.boutabagg Read the manual.. If you don't have a hard copy manual, just go online and download one.. The manual will tell you which specific One Connect is compatible with your TV.. Many One Connect boxes do not have the same inputs/outputs and some actually power the tv and some don't..

@tajsingh7924 You have to Google the TV's model # and download the TV's manual and inside the manual there should be a photo and model # of the connect box that comes with the TV.

Hi. Thx for the good info. I have a tube inside the wall so the TV connections like power and the connection to my current onebox is hidden. My Samsyng is a 55'' from 2017. Approx how wide are the plugs for the one-box now? I'm afraid I can't get it through the tube. I'm think of buying the S95C?

Hello! I have a QE55Q95T with a BN91-21889B One Connect Box, which looks the same as the big OCB from the video. I read messages here and there that One Connect Boxes are not interchangeable with other models. But is that really the case? Have you tested and tried that yourself? Would the OCB of e.g. a The Frame 2023 (which looks very similar) not work? And would it not work at all? Or only certain The Frame specific functionalities?

Hi. No you cant use any box unfortunately. Usually when something is wrong it's almost every time the TV, not the box, that is the problem.

This is by far the stupidest decision Samsung has ever made. Like oh, let’s make a 65” QLED TV with a stupid proprietary cable and some dumb box, and let’s also make a 65” QLED TV that has an hdmi port like any normal tv would. Let’s also make the box super fragile and expensive and discontinue them immediately, and on top of that, let’s make each TV have a different box and cable. Why the hell would anyone buy this? I picked one up the other day thinking it was a normal stinking TV and apparently I need this stupid box and $50 cable for it.
