@Bzake What year is this? They've fixed that a long time ago. It's been smooth as butter for a while now. I also prefer the stockish android experience, though, but some of these features are very cool and I'd love them to be available for everyone.

@Bzake i have the pixel6 and s21 and the s21 feels a bit smoother. i haven't used a Samsung phone since the S5 iwas really shocked with how fast the s21is. touch wiz used to be pure trash tho

One problem I've noticed with this update is that when u use your phone in dark mode, the swipe down notification icons are a white-on-white color instead of individual colors for each app icon like before. It just makes them really hard to see 😔

@Bug Boy 1. Turn off the phone 2. Connect to a computer via usb 3. Press volume up + power button until the recovery screen comes up 4. Use volume up and down to select "clear cache partition" 5. After that select "reboot system" If you're not too sure how to do that, just have a quick look on any youtube tutorial

I like all the updates. Not a fan of the new auto optimization though. Before you had an option to set the time for each, the optimization and the restart. Now if unable it does both at a random time. That's why the notice of having to unlock it to receive your notifications, alarms, and identities of incoming callers.

I love MIUI's 3 features that one ui lacs please notify them 1/ data usage - in miui you can see today's data usage, yesterday's data usage and today's hourly data usage but one ui , you only see weekly data usage 2/ miui has ability to stop data from sim 1, sim 2 as well as wifi for perticular app but one ui has only stop wifi data for perticular app 3/ i love miuis internet speed gadgets on notification bar , old samsung ui had this option i wish i can see this features on next update

Thanks for the video. I really wonder if Samsung think about AOD instead of lockscreen... I NEVER look at the lockscreen, ever, and they keep throwing customization over it, while neglecting AOD customization (which would be really welcome). Lockscreen customization is the most useless feature for me, I might want to see the notifications in AOD, but once I see them and want to do something, I want to use the device launcher or apps, not some crippled menu/dashboard

Okay guys, am living in Egypt and using a Samsung S21 ultra device Just got the latest android 13 with one UI 5.0 from around 48 hours ago. Wanna just say that the phone is running smoother! I never, in my whole life, experienced phones from other brands getting better with software updates 😂 Its so cool to finally see Samsung being so mature and fully understanding their phones enough to make such stable and efficient improvement! I had other Samsung phones in the past, and my friends too, and all of them, even with other brands, complained that software updates just make their devices run slower and battery killers. But with this, am all In and confident that all my next phones will always gonna be from Samsung, and huge thanks for that very informative view it's so sweet to know more info about the new features I know enjoy 🥰

Attention to details.... Look at the battery % on both the phone at 0:48 and now take a look battery at 1:48... In around 14 mins the battery drops from 98% to 95%...is it normal?

Maintenance mode is one of the best feature and it should come to all samsung phones . With maintenance mode you can give your phone for repair to anyone without having the headache of someone accessing your confidential and private photos and files. Note 20 Ultra even after updating to Android 13 one Ul 5 still doesn't have maintenance mode? I wanted to notify the developers to add it in a future update. If i give my phone for repair my personal and confidential files are at threat . If I have maintenance mode no one can access it.Almost all Samsung phones need this feature. Hope Samsung adds this feature during future updates

Hello, have you notice the charging information changed in one ui5? It only briefly shows 'fast' and 'super fast' charging and reverts back to 'charging' text. For me it was a useful information to tell me if the phone is charging properly or not at a single glance.
