get a hair dryer, please do as in the video. heat the capacitors with a hair dryer and the TV will work if the problem is as in the video

caps failures is more common in lcd than in plasma that is true fact

Hi there, thanks for the sharing your video, I have shut off problem with my Samsung Plasma Television 43″ PS43E490, Some time it works for days without any problem and some time it shut off after 20 minutes and Red Light flash 5 times, If i remove the power cable and reconnect the cable again then tv does come on. So it doesn't happen all the time. I really appreciate if you could help me to fix this problem.

Hi there thanks for the sharing your video i have a shut off problem whit my samsung plasma television 50" PL50B450B1DXZX Someday it shutoff and the red light flashing i disconect the line from de power board to the Y-board and starts but no video (reconect the Y-board and the problem shows again ) what can i do? try to reset. turn off the TV. press remote control. info, menu, mute, power, you are in service mode. then do a factory reset. the tv will turn off after 5 or 10 seconds

I have a 42A410C1D tv I would like to use as a pc monitor. old pc does not had hdmi connector. have it connected, cannot get remote to allow me to switch from tv to pc what am I doing wrong? fyi i am an old f@#$ not real good at this.
